## Description

Ultra-concentrate leak sealer for central heating systems. 500ml is sufficient for treating 100 litres of water - a typical domestic heating system of up to 10 radiators. Corgi leak sealer is used to seal inaccessible leaks and weeping joints, whilst reducing pressure loss in sealed systems. It does not cause blockages in circulator pumps or air-vents.

Review: Did the job! - As with other reviewers, my central heating system (Worcester condensing combi boiler, 11 radiators, small bore pipes) was losing pressure over the course of a week to ten days, and needing recharging/bleeding. Fortunately, the highest point in our central heating system is a heated towel rail, with a bleed valve on top, so adding the leak sealer was just a question of unscrewing the housing and pouring it into the already partly empty radiator via a funnel. Recharged the system, bleeding air out as necessary, then ran the heating for a few hours. 3 weeks later, and it's still bang on pressure. Job's a good 'un.

**Q: How do you get this product into the system?**
A: Close the valves to a radiator. Remove the top plug (the one with the square hole) and using a length of plastic pipe syphon out sufficient water from the rad to accommodate the leak sealer. Use a funnel or plastic squeezable bottle and pour the sealer into the rad.Refit the plug, open the valves and bleed the radiator. You may have to pressurize the system. Alternatively you can drain the system but this is much more work.

**Q: Can this product be used with combi boilers?**
A: Thank you for your enquiry.  Corgi Leak Sealer is suitable for use in all wet heating systems, including those with combination boilers.

**Q: Can I put this in my loft water tank to seal a water leak in my oil boiler?**
A: If you are referring to the header tank for your heating system, you would first need to drain a sufficient amount of water from the system to empty the tank and a little more to allow the chemical to enter the system. You could then add the chemical via the header tank and then refill the tank with water.

**Q: Do you drain the product afterwards?**
A: Because the location and nature of any heating system leak is not always known, the leak sealer should be added to the system, and circulated whilst the system is running normally until there is evidence that the leak has been plugged (the leak sealer reacts with the air at the point of the leak).  The system should then be drained and re-filled adding inhibitor.  If leak sealer is left for an extended period in the system water there is a small risk (if there is air within the system) of the leak sealer reacting with 'system' air and partially curing within the system, which could lead to a blockage.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked on my Pulsacoil 2000

We have a Pulsacoil 2000 that's in its death throes and was losing approx half a litre of water a day from several leaks. Could not get plumber to fix us a new boiler in lockdown so tried pouring a bottle of this stuff in the header tank. A month later and not a drip to be found. I have no idea how long this will last but hoping to keep the Pulsacoil living until I can organise a boiler replacement. Very impressed.
