Great Brushes for Beginner and Intermediate Artists
I've been painting with watercolours for a few years now, and for the price, I'm very impressed by these brushes. While not as good as natural-hair brushes, they are very, very good for their price point. They hold their shape much better than other synthetic brushes I've used, the bristles don't fall out or get splayed, and they hold enough water for smaller paper sizes (up to 9"x12") to be fair game. They do get a bit stained from things like India ink and watercolour pencils, but that colour doesn't affect any future paintings. Gunk can generally be cleaned with a bit of soap and water, though masking fluid still gums them up a lot. The variety of brushes is really nice - you get a round, flat, liner, Filbert, and angled brush.Overall, really good for artists on a budget who want better than a water brush or brushes meant for complete beginners.

Great!
I wanted a new set of brushes and a case for them, so this is great. The brushes range in length (from bristles to end of the handle) from 5 inches - 8.5 inches. All brushes in my pictures with the covers on the bristles, and the fan brush, are included in the set. The others are my old brushes and pallet knife that I've added in and the case still closes fine with extra brushes and tools in - there are 2 extra pockets for brushes on the edges and behind both rows there is a pocket which would be useful for storing paper or tissue. Case feels very sturdy and well made!

Graduate synthetic detail brushes
Daler Rowney are a name I'm long familiar with, having used their artist's brushes for donkey's years. Their brushes never seem to cause me any problems, although obviously you need to care for them well just like any other fine instrument. We've not received a single Daler Rowney brush that has had a quality problem, and these were no exception. The synthetic bristles are tight and stay so over the course of time, and the ferrules are never loose or otherwise problematic in my experience. We're fairly gentle with the ones we use, and we're quick to clean them. We use natural bristle brushes most of the time, but these synthetic ones are basically no different to us when they are loaded with paint. It's hard to find fault with them, they balance nicely in the fingers and, although my wife gets on with them better than I do (my hands would prefer a very slightly larger diameter to the grip on some of the finer brushes), I wouldn't change them for the world.

Excellent in every way
Bought this to push on from watercolour work into oils and I have to say they have been fantastic. I've used practically all of them already. They are excellent value, superb at holding paint, easy to work with, blend colours brilliantly and clean up like a dream. If I'd tried to buy each of these brushes individually, I'd have been well out of pocket and, being short handled, they are so easy to manipulate and work with. I'm delighted with my purchase and highly recommend them.

Excellent value for money
I love this range of brushes and this set has a good range of sizes, although I would have preferred a flat to an oval as it's easier to paint into corners. I use them in all my art classes and recommend them to my students. They hold water and have just the right amount of springiness and have held their shape beautifully over time. For my own use, in the past I've always used top brands and sable or sable mixes and there is almost no difference at all.

Good Quality Brushes for Detail Work in Acrylic.
Set of ten brushes in a neat zip case, the brushes are good quality except for the fan brush, it's useless as the hairs have too many gaps I it. The round and filbert brushes are on the small size but good quality, great for detail work. I use my brushes for acrylic and find them just right. For the price they are good value for money, and I like the short handles also. If it wasn't for the useless fan brush I would have given them five stars.

High Quality, Low price
This brush set is amazing and the price of this is fabulous. I purchased this brush set because my uni shop was selling them separately for £1 upwards and I just wasn't willing to keep spending my money there when I can get more for my money elseware. These are strong, high quality brushes which don't give you the old problem of paint brushes which have bristles falling out with every sweep of the brush. I would recommend this set and I would buy it again.
