The trimmer was received quickly from Amazon. I opened it to make sure all was good and the unit wasnt DoA. Which i encourage always especially if its a gift or you won't use it for months. *Fool me once return window! Anyway. There was an empty bag kind of haphazardly placed in the top portion of the box. Not off to a great start but It's parts (dry trim grate,both halves of the power cord,and an extra blade) were all neatly packed inside the unit which had its windows held closed by tape for shipping. Got to the bottom of the box and there was no silicone tray. At which point I realized what was probably supposed to be in the top portion of the box in the bag. Upon a closer look at everything you could see it had be opened and retaped. Albeit pretty precisely. So I'm guessing I got a returned unit of some kind from Amazon. I reached out to the company and I am more than happy with what they did to make it right even though it was more than likely an Amazon problem.As for the unit, it looks and feels super well built and solid. I'd except a long service life from its look and feel. I guess time will tell. It has not been used yet except for having been turned on to try the controls to make sure it functions properly. The motor and switches are smooth and work well. Just make sure all are off and turned down before plugging it in! This was purchased as a gift so I probably won't update the review unless the thing blows up on him or they never send me the replacement tray. Either way I think it's safe to say if you need one buy one. This brand is well build and the customer support actually gets back to you fast and will help you! A vinvin ya?

The main benefit is the electric motor, so if you need help, this will do the job. Does about the same trim job as the manual trimmer.

This state of the art tabletop electric trimmer is so worth the money. In mere minutes it can trim amounts of dry flower that would take me many hours. It does a great job of closely trimming sugar leaves while not chewing into the trichromes and pistils. I have only tried this trimmer with dry flower, but cannot wait to try it on wet! It is easy to change from wet to dry mode or vice versa. The controls are pretty straightforward and it does not take an engineer to be able to operate it. This is a super high quality machine and has great instructions that actually make sense. This trimmer would be a real game changer for a large grower or a great time saver for smaller growers. Clean up is not as hard as I thought it would be. An impressive unit!

And well, I would hope it would be nice with a price like it has. You know what they say though, "You gotta pay for quality." And so far, from what I can tell, the quality seems to be, "high..." Lol! But yeah, it can be used for wet trimming and dry trimming. The cutting height can be adjusted. It has a motor speed dial. And, it's nice that it has an acrylic lid so that the inside can be seen while it's operating.

This machine will save a lot of tedious work come fall harvest time. It is worth the money.
