There is a small handle on the end that is comfortable to hold and appropriate. It is 5 inches in length. Very happy with purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wooden Honey Dipper *by S***L on 5 November 2012* Does what it says on the tin: Dip it in the honey jar, drizzle over your food & enjoy!!!Twist so honey doesn't drip anywhere you don't want it to.BUT you need a lot of patience for this process ie. 'waiting for all the honey to drip from the dipper.My solution is to leave the 'dipper' in the honey jar, then you can dip it in & out as much as needed without having to wait for all the honey to drip from the dipper. You can just put it back in the jar until it's needed the next time.I don't bother using a 'honey pot' with the hole cut out in the lit for the dipper.
