Good performance shame about the controller
Controller arrived with a scratch / mark on the touch screen section. Not too bothered as the controller is hidden in the pantry. However after a few week the light up display stopped working and now the entire unit has stopped working. Checked wiring and connection which seem to be fine.Overall good performance when working & easy to install. Hope to get a contact for a new controller please

Product Turned up With A scratched Thermostat!!
Simply annoying that the product looks as though somebody had been in the box before me and scratched my thermostat face. Why? This is not good enough. I want a new product with a scratch free thermostat please as per what i paid for!!!

Great for bathrooms
Had this professionally installed in an outhouse bathroom renovation, and it's incredible to walk on warm floors instead of icy cold tiles. The installation was reported as very easy, and the thermostat control means my work is easy. It's not cheap, but the return for your money is great satisfaction and likely save on bills because you're less likely to need specific room heating if you're heating the body instead.

Good value, excellent quality and very clear instructions.
The media could not be loaded. Excellent quality underfloor heating mat. Made from robust, durable, premium materials this heating mat is quite straightforward to install on both hollow-boarded timber or solid cement-based subfloors and under most types of floor finishes. i. e. cement/epoxy/composite screeds, stone, ceramic/clay/porcelain or composite tiles, laminate boarding, hardwood and softwood boarding, hard vinyl (LVT) and some soft vinyl lays, both hardwood and softwood boarding as well as synthetic or wool carpeting. The method of installation depends on the type of subfloor and the type of final floor material finish and all are well and clearly described and explained in the excellent detailed installation instructions. In nearly all cases, the heating mat will need to be covered and set in a minimum depth of, at least, 6mm of a suitable self-levelling compound/screed before the final floor finish can be laid on top. So if matching to an existing adjacent floor this extra thickness needs to be allowed for. Laying out, fitting and cutting the mat to shape is easy and is clearly explained. Particularly helpful is that the back of the mesh has a low-tac adhesive which holds the mat and wires firmly in position yet allows re-positioning during installation until set. Also included is a top-quality modern, wall-mounted, smart thermostat/control unit. The touch-operated control unit is wifi enabled so can link to a phone app as well as Google Assistant and Amazon Echo Alexa. The Control unit comes with a temperature sensor (to install under the mat) and its own separate manual containing very clear and comprehensive installation and operating instructions.I am installing this in a small downstairs cloakroom/toilet which has a traditional wooden floor, over which I am laying a hard vinyl floating floor.I think this kit is great value, all you need is some levelling compound and a few basic tools.

Easy to install
I ordered the EconoHome Underfloor Electric Heating Mat in the 4.5 metre square size. The mat is made with high-quality materials, including a fluoropolymer heating element, and is designed to provide efficient and effective underfloor heating for indoor spaces. The mat is easy to install for someone who's a total newbie to this kind of install and can be used with a variety of flooring types, including tile, wood, and laminate. I was able to set it up myself without any difficulty to test it, and although it's not quite the right size for the intended floor, the heating is even and consistent in that spot. One of the best features of the EconoHome Underfloor Electric Heating Mat is the included WiFi smart thermostat. This allows me to easily control the temperature and timing of the heating from my Android smartphone, which is incredibly convenient. I can even set up schedules to ensure that the heating turns on and off automatically based on my daily routine.Overall, I would recommend the EconoHome Underfloor Electric Heating Mat to anyone looking for a high-quality, efficient, and effective underfloor heating solution for their home. The included smart thermostat is a great bonus, and the fact that it can be used under variety of flooring types makes it a versatile choice.

Good value underfloor heating but has some drawbacks
I had some spare laminate flooring panels so I set up a test floor and whilst it worked okay, it never got as warm as I expected and it took a long time for the heat to come through. Now the laminate is 14mm thick so this may have been the reason. Doing a full install of this is not for the faint of heart, there is quite a bit of work involved before and after you lay it down, I would not say it's easy. Laying down the actual heating mat isn't too bad, though the design means you need to get the exact size you need as it's not a modular design, get it wrong and you're stuck.

Toasty toes
I ordered this not having a clue how I would get it fitted - I just knew I wanted something to sort the freezing floor in the open plan living/diner.Instructions are comprehensive and easy to understand. Installation took 2 days as had to take up laminate, fit the mat and then relay laminate on top. Was a bit dubious about doing it ourselves but was relatively simple. Mat slightly smaller than the room but works okay. Did have an issue with the cable - ended up putting it under a plasic cable strip to the power supply.Thermostat works fine and app is easy to use - havent been able to get it hooked to smart life app which we use for other smart appliances though.Works fine we have it on just first thing in the morning for an hour - cost is minimal as we have solar panels and only use when it is light so cant comment on the power drain.
