Looks great and appears to be well made.

This Orian rug looks good and smells fine even right out of it’s wrapping (many synthetic rugs put off a chemical oder, especially when brand new). And it's woven, which should give it a longer service life.However, it has a very low-density pile. This is not a thick rug, so even with inch-long individual tufts, it doesn’t have that contemporary shag feel of substance. As you can see in the pictures, the primary backing is readily visible, as are the large gaps between the fibers. I’ve included examples of most of the colors featured in the rug to demonstrate that it’s not merely the consequence of darker strands on a light background. The pile density is uniformly low. If that’s what you are looking for, this might suit you. We were looking for a high-density rug, however.

I absolutely love, love, love this rug!!! The colors are vibrant and provide the ability to mix and match many different things in a room. The rug yarn fibers are a high pile - so you'll need to make sure your vacuum has a high pile option setting. I've had this rug for 2 years now and the carpet yarn fibers are still in superb shape and fluff up as they should for a high pile rug. As far as it's stain resistance - I would say it's pretty good; but, I haven't really had anything spill on it other than coffee (once) and it cleaned up well with just a wet wash cloth. I have not used my carpet scrubber on it - and I don't suggest doing so... A steam only cleaner may be okay, but best bet would be to have a professional come out and clean it. I ordered the largest size available - which back then, Amazon didn't carry this rug and I had purchased it through another company. I'm very glad to see that Amazon now carries this as I am now looking to get two of the matching runners. This is a high-end rug... Not a cheaply looking made one. It'll liven up a room - making even bare white walls look bareable. You can paint the room almost any color that falls within the color swatch shades of this rug and be okay... From greys, black, blues, browns, reds, greens, oranges, whites, ivories, and tans.... even possibly yellows and pinks; but definitely not purples.

I bought this rug 5+ years ago. I use it for a year, roll it up and store it and then bring it out and use it again. It has held up beautifully. It’s been moved, used as a rug pad, cleaned multiple times with a home cleaner and has two large dogs that sleep and play on it and, through it all, it still looks and wears great.
