Much to my surprise!
I've been back and forth with skin care for years. From pricey brands to more affordable brands. My last purchase of vitamin c serum was from skinceuticals. Super expensive and although it was ok it certainly isn't worth the price. I use the snail mucin from cosrx and I really like it, so I decided to try the vitamin c 13 from cosrx. They also have a vitamin c 23, but I wanted to try the 13 first. Like many of the reviews mention it does have a "fishy" smell to it, but it doesn't last for long. I'm on the 5th day of using this and I can't believe it. I can see a difference. My skin is brighter and softer in just a few days. I've never with any other skin product have seen results so quickly. I do believe I've finally found a good vitamin c serum that I'm gonna stick with and like I mentioned this is the 13%. When this is gone, I'll order the 23%. I do recommend starting with the 13% to avoid any skin irritation and then move up to the 23%. I am a little bummed out because it took me a long time and alot of money before I was able to find cosrx, but now that I found it, I'll continue to use it. I highly recommend and shout out to cosrx for making awesome skin care products affordable. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wow
This vitamin C serum has made my face smooth bright and moisturized. The small bumps on my face have slowly gone away. I like the way it makes my face feel moisturized throughout the day. Some people say it feels oily, and it does feel like an oil when you first apply it but then it dries to a natural finish with a slight tacky moisture film, but not at all oily. Some might feel it is oily because they apply too much. I like the way it dries down personally. Feels like the way a gel cream might feel when it absorbs. The smell is not great, but not horrible because it disappears once it dries. To me it smells like copper and burnt orange peels. I would buy this again because I like the results.

One of the best I tried
I’m using for weeks and it looks effective, I have a very sensitive skin and I tolerate it well, no irritation and fast absorption

Healthy and bright
I have been using medical grade vitamin c serum for years but I was looking for a more economical option. The results including skin brightness and reduction in fine lines held up to my medical grade serum I was previously using. I paired it with their moisturizer and spf as well and have continued great results. 45 year old skin looking healthy and bright

Great for skin brightening/discoloration
Amazing to add color to your skin during these cold winter months. Also helps with pigmentation and discoloring (scaring) of face. Highly recommend! (I am 38 years old for reference)

Odd scent
Overall I love the Cosrx brand. The holy grail for snail mucin and their all-in-one cream is amazing. Figured I give this serum a go. Why not? Contains: super vitamin E + hyaluronic acid. Item arrived in a timely manner. Packaged well, no damage to box. Opened it up and threw item away. It smelled like tuna fish oil. Gave it 3 star because of the brand name. Very disappointing as I was hyped to incorporate into my daily skin care routine.

Liquid Sunshine in a Bottle
I’d like you to meet officially my glow dealer. I put her on, and it’s like someone turned the brightness up on my face without making me look oily or fake — just pure, radiant, even skin. She’s lightweight, sinks in instantly, and doesn’t give me the dreaded sticky or stingy drama that so many vitamin C serums bring to the table. Within weeks, my dullness is GONE & my redness? Fading. My entire complexion? Smooth, even, and practically sparkling. I look like I’ve been sleeping eight hours and drinking green juice (spoiler: I haven’t). This isn’t just brightening — it’s transformative. My morning routine feels incomplete without her, and when I skip a day, I can tell. She’s will forever live in my mini fridge rent free. She’s the reason I’m glowing like I actually have my life together.

VERY POTENT PRODUCT!! Will give almost instantaneous results but use correctly.
Background: I’m not a skin care expert and am not a skin care professional. But I’m someone who recently got into skin care for myself. I have uneven skin tone and dull looking skin. In my 30s, brown skin, and I seldom use any makeup. About Vitamin C and this product: Vitamin C is great to even out skin tone and make it bright. This one is a very potent Vitamin C serum - it is 13% vitamin C. To put that into context, most starter vitamin C serums and creams are 10%. But this concentration suited me well and I saw results almost from Day 1. A little goes a long way, don’t need to apply too much. Within 2 weeks most of my dark patches were gone and my skin was glowing. After 1 month of use I even stopped using makeup altogether even while going out. In short it worked great for me. The catch: Do remember, this is acidic (Ascorbic acid). And it is pretty concentrated at 13%. If you have sensitive or thin skin, this should NOT be the first thing you should apply on cleansed face. Use a toner or anything which can repair skin barrier before using this serum. Otherwise it can cause extremely dry skin, irritation and redness. I use the Cera Ve hydrating toner. Also follow it up with a good moisturizer to prevent skin from drying. If you are going out in the sun then sunscreen is a must, otherwise this will do more harm than good. Don’t overdo it, applying it once a day and like a serum (few drops) should be enough. Look out for patches of redness and dried skin when using, it is usually means you are overdoing it and need to back off a little. Use a night moisturizer to calm the skin - that worked for me.
