Don't hit it with the sledge
Good wedge. Works best for splitting after I've sawed a 10cm slot in the log with the electric chainsaw first.Caution: don't hit it with a sledgehammer or other hardened tool as splinters of steel may break off at high velocity and cause injury!

Solid used straight away for splitting rounds of wood in to more manageable pieces . Worked a treat . Also used when axe got stuck in log , used splitter to retrieve axe. Would buy again if I had to and would recommend. Also arrived very quickly

Hard work
Good and solid, my only criticism is the angle on the point is very shallow making it hard to stick into the wood when you get started. I'm sure a quick once over with the angle grinder and they will be fine. I find a log grenade much easier to use.
