Excellent Value and Quality
Looked at these Stainless Steel French Presses after my 1st glass French pressed popped a tiny hole from hot/cold. This is a great quality device. The plunger strainer are solid with extra meshes. It has produced excellent coffee and is easy to clean. Simple, functional, durable that makes great coffee.

Only French press you should buy.
Way better than a glass French press. It's well designed, insulated (even the lid), and sturdy. It's very easy to clean, and looks great. It makes coffee hot enough that you can't even drink it afterwards. This doesn't happen with glass French presses because they aren't insulated.Would absolutely buy again if I ever need to replace it.

Good quality!
Love this! Good quality all stainless steel. Holds heat well with the double walls and lid. Easy to clean. Durable. The handle is sturdy. However it holds slightly less than my other 1 liter glass press because the spout comes down further.

Wonderful and no plastic!!
Perfect french press. Stainless makes it great and it makes four american mugs full with room for milk. Love that it’s not glass, cleaning is quick and easy. No spots, I wipe with tea towel after washing with soapy warm water and it looks beautiful and takes up no space on my countertop. Love it! My first french press after using just about everything else over the last 50 years. Never too late to learn something new! Mine came with three screens, one on the plunger and two spares.

My favorie french press
Do you know it cost just as much to replace the glass container of a french press as purchasing a whole new one? I had no idea thay came any other way. That is how I found this SS (sterling silver) FP (french press) which is the best. I purchased mine as a return from the warehouse (can't imagine why someone would return it) I thought it passed as never used. Nice and shiny, no scratches and all parts included. It does not feel cheap by any means. I knocked on the oustide with my knuckles and it sounds solid not hollow. I tested the container with boiling water and it stayed hot for 2 hrs. I have the 32 oz, at first I thought it was to big but changed my mind, it's a perfect size. I didn't know the filters could be removed/replaced or even stacked for more filtration, so now I can wash the filters and parts much easier/better. I use packaged ground coffee and never have grounds in my cup like some reviews. When I plunge the filters (I have 2) it has a snug fit keeping grounds down. I like the feel of the long handle, I can grip it and have confidence I'm not going to drop it but if I did theres no broken glass or parts. Cleaning is no different than any other FP, I do mine by hand and hand dry the outside because I want that spot free shiny look. I haven't had mine long enough to speak to rusting. I did forget to empty and clean my FP for 3 days and no signs of degrading. I like the lid idea, it is shaped for pouring and when turned blocks off liquid. The lid is not sealed in any way so liquid pours regardless of the lids position. I like this FP sooo much I'm not sure how important the lids fit justifies my rating of 4 stars, but that is my only reason for not rating a 5 star. I highly recommend this FP and am so glad I accidentally came accross it.

A nice and simple coffee press.
A decent sized coffee press. Large enough for enternaining, or most of a day's supply of coffee. It is stainless so it will not shatter if dropped or knocked onto the floor. It is a double wall construction, though not a "vacuum" type of vessel as the outside of it does get warm once there is hot water poured in.Use care and common sense when assembling the press: face the spout away from you as you prepare your coffee and make sure the bevel of the top is also pointed away from you. Once hot water is in the press it, it is possible to "launch" some water or coffee out of the spout as you reassemble it, and the design of the cover tends to deflect the stream outward. With all that said, it is well made press, and a decent value for the money. It does not alter flavor of coffee or tea in ways some plastics might. Cleaning is easy, though you will want to have a plier to hold the shaft when it is time to clean the pressing screen assembly, at least for the first time as they get threaded quite snug and the press knob tends to be what unscrews instead. The pot is about 750mL even though the box says it is 1 liter. If you are like me and tend to nurse a pot of coffee all day, I have heated a full liter of water in the heating pot, filled the press and poured a tall cup of coffee, and then carefully raised the press assembly just enough to lean against the side of the pot and poured in the remaining heated water into the press and continue to let it steep on the grounds. I usually use Espresso ground coffee at one rounded tablespoon per cup, so about 3 table spoons of coffee (4 if I heat up a liter of water.), though reglar grounds will work too.If you want the best coffee you can get, make sure to completely wash the press after each use to remove old grounds, tannins and any Fusile oils that remain, especially in the mesh and mesh supports.

Functionality, price, well-made and looks elegant
I needed this years ago! It makes a perfect single, large (15 ounce) cup of coffee. I use a large mug as a rule with room for cream. Easy to operate, easy to clean. I will take this with me on the road & use in hotel rooms. There is no better coffee than a fresh brewed cup in French press.

Recommend!
Amazing French press!! The stainless steal is super nice, keeping the coffee hot for awhile after brewing. I mainly use it for coffee and never have any issues with it. Easy to clean and comes with a few extra screens which is nice.
