Hausen Heavy Duty Garden Fence Post Driver 67 x 17cm Farm Fencing Hole Rammer

It is a simple idea, well made and very sturdy. It will knock in 2 metre posts with far greater ease and accuracy than a sledge hammer without damaging the tops of the posts. Drawback is it is fairly heavy and seems to get heavier as the day progresses but that is more down to the strength of the user not the fault of the design.

Easy to use. Done the job. Good weight and not too heavy.

For many years I’ve used a sledgehammer for putting wooden posts into the ground with the attendant chips and splits. I’m older now so I thought I’d spoil myself when I was confronted with doing the same thing. So I bought a post driver. Best thing I ever did. No damage to the posts and the post went in straight! The driver took a little getting used to. Solid, sturdy the handles angled for ease. The weight being lifted above your head but then the force of gravity helping the downward blow onto the post. I will not go back to the old hammer since it makes the job much easier and quicker.Should have done it years ago.

This is a seriously heavy bit of kit. Unless you are Geoff Capes, it is going to take 2 of you, one on each handle to use this. However, you need the weight to get fence posts in so I guess it is right for the job. We've put in around 30 posts with this and it is fine. Handle are still holding up and welds good.

Found this product very useful in my garden only used it on 10 post's so far got another 17 post's to go just remember check for under ground water pipes first you want a good job not expensive work to be carried out by calling a local plumber or worse emergency gas engineers this post driver was great for heighten my existing 4ft fence to 6ft for my 9 month old alaskan malamute top part of garden is complete 6ft fence which am finishing today putting tension wire around to strengthen fence and stop the flex you see in pictures

Used for putting fence posts in. Easy to use. Heavy but manageable. Does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Looks robust and heavy for the job .
