This product arrived ln time and was in secure packaging. Beware these type of bottles are small; but use small amounts of the cleaning product at any one time. A little goes a long way. Work the stain in with cold water. Hot water will set the stain and male it very difficult to remove. As I was saying use cold water it will help to loosen the stain and make it more manageable for the stain to be removed. Be very gentle and one may have to repeat the process a few times before the stain is finally removed. As a golden rule to protect one hands rubber gloves are a must. This product will also remove other stains too.

Thus didn’t work, probably because the stain had dried but I don’t want anyone else trying this, it’s a tiny bottle too 50mls I think

Item ok as it made the ink stain slightly lighter, But it did not get rid of the stain completely So I have mixed reviews to be fair

I knocked a glass of red wine and it splattered over wall and very expensive curtains. I immediately used this product on the curtain, following the instructions - ie use a liberal amount on the stain, leave for 5 mins then rinse out with warm water and then although it said put in the washing machine, I had to hand wash just a part of the curtain as it was just too big. Most of the wine splash just seemed to magically dissolve away within that initial 5 mins. Quite amazing. The couple that didn't quite go, completely went once I'd hand washed it. My curtains show no sign of all the wine that was on them. It's an amazing product. But a couple of notes: 1) these are tiny bottles and instructions encourage you to use the entire bottle, so buy more than one. 2) It advises to wear gloves. As it was a small area and I was in a rush to apply before it dried, I didn't. That evening my hands and wrists slightly itched but I didn't really connect it. The next morning, I used my ungloved hands again to squeeze more water out of curtain (which should have been solution free) in the morning and then later when a little drier, hung them still slightly damp so that I could fold tie up the curtain waves so they dried in shape. All using ungloved hands. That evening, not only did my hands and wrist start itching and coming up in welts, but under my arms, around my back all came up in angry red welts and itched like mad. I have had allergic reactions in the past but only to virus's and covid jabs - never a detergent.. Nevertheless, this product did seem to trigger a pretty big reaction and I needed the strong antihistamine I have for emergencies, which took about an hour before all the welts calmed down. It serves me right for not being more careful, so I'm writing this just to warn others. It's a brilliant product but WEAR GLOVES when using!

Running a couple of AirBNBs we’re always cleaning up stains left by guests. This one is great for drinks marks on sofa covers. Make sure you use the right HG stain product as they make several ones.
