From author Jescie Hall, comes this dark and demanding stalker romance that pushes all the boundaries of exploring sexuality while simultaneously exposing the harsh realities of organized religion. This book explores many dark topics. Please beware of the trigger warnings before reading. Your mental health matters. Fornication is a sin. As it reads, we should flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. They teach us that these thoughts, these actions, are immoral. But that dark side that lives inside all of us, the true nature of man, drives us to seek the need that burns within, demanding to be set free. Deep inside of our bones lies that intrinsic need, one desperate to escape. An innate behavior, seemingly out of our control. One that screams for sins they tell us are condemning. Aero is the throat from which I scream. The dark parts of myself I want hidden from this world are all he sees when he gazes at me beneath yet another mask. He’s the demon drowning me in my own underlying desires. He may never stop. Not until I succumb to my truths, or die beneath the weight of his unrelenting grasp. Because according to him, the life I’ve been living is a hell far worse than death. Review: Jescie Hall is Brilliant - Enough Said! - ou helped me to find a fragment of peace in a world constructed of pain Aero gave me my voice by allowing me to find it for myself. He empowered what they’d labeled sin. Review Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 - A stroke of genius. Heat Index : 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ A FIREY INFERNO /5 Oh my gooooooooooooooooooooood. My mind is racing with thoughts. So. 👏 Many. 👏 Thoughts. 👏 First thought, I need to immediately cleanse myself with holy water. Secondly, I adore dark romances, though I'm not typically a fan of stalker romances. However, this was executed brilliantly. It just works. Jescie expertly wove in every detail, leaving me unable to put it down, eagerly awaiting the final revelations. Her genius truly knows no bounds. Seriously, she's like the Da Vinci of vigilante sh!t. As someone raised in the Bible Belt, there are many themes in this book that resonated deeply with me. While some may find it taboo, I found it to be a profoundly liberating read. It's so wrong, yet undeniably right. It truly forces you to take a long, hard look at things. "Evil comes in many forms, often masked by those who proclaim holiness." Now, fair warning, this book's not everyone's cup of tea. This book won't be for everyone; it can be downright sacrilegious at times. But in my mind, it's a masterpiece. A beautifully crafted masterpiece. A masterpiece that's been crafted with so much thought and finesse, and even if you're not on board with the themes, you've gotta give props where they're due. This is one wild ride. It's a gripping experience from start to finish. Briony, our initially naive fmc, was raised within the strict confines of her religion, a domain dominated by men and hypocrisy. She begins with blinders on, never questioning the status quo. She was molded to fit their mold, and they nearly succeeded. Then we meet Aero, our exquisitely broken, utterly tormented, and frankly psychotic man. Aero is a product of the traumas he's endured throughout his life. I felt every ounce of his agony, and the way Jescie brought him to life was nothing short of exceptional. He's obsessive and unhinged, knowing no boundaries. He's driven by the fine line between love and hate. He's the teacher, but he allows her to learn and see with her own eyes, forming her own deeply rooted animosity. The way he helps Briony find her voice? Pure poetry. The character growth here is off the charts. The revenge, the whole vigilante bit, sign me up. Every jaw-dropping revelation had me clutching the book, refusing to put it down till I had all the deets. Now, about the sizzle. This thing's got more heat than a five-alarm fire. I'm not kidding when I say it's a five-chili read. Jescie cranks up the thermostat, and you'll need a polar plunge to cool off. Now, here's the kicker. I went full throttle, did the whole reading and audio experience. And let me tell you about the audio—Holy moly, Joe Arden, you're a legend. The way he breathed life into Aero with Jescie's words? Next level. And I'm already a Joe fan, but this was like a whole new ball game. He delved into Aero's mind like a pro, giving us a front-row seat to the circus of his tormented soul. Desiree nailed Briony too. The dual narration? It brought the whole shebang to life in the most epic way. Bravo! Oh my goodness, I absolutely adored this one. It accomplished what many dark romances only dream of. The journey of conquering inner demons was like a symphony for my soul, a melody so few have managed to strike. To transform something so unconventional into a feeling of absolute rightness was pure genius, and I've wholeheartedly joined the Jescie fan club for life. The execution was nothing short of impeccable, and I could gush about it endlessly. Review: Mysterious and hot - Honestly, at first I wanted to give 5 stars, but I felt that the ending of this novel was a bit rushed. I wanted to know their lives after that. However, I liked this story, even though it was not my cup of tea. What attracted me was not just the plot, but the character of the heroine. I liked her strength. At first, we can see how pure and innocent Briony is, but after she found out the truth, she was ready to take revenge. She was never afraid, she was smart, she was interesting, especially the scene where she made NOX crazy, like a bet between her and Aero, with Nox becoming a victim. Hahaha. She is a very charming character. As for Aero, to me, he is an anti-hero. His childhood was pitiful. I am glad that he met Briony, like broken souls found each other. And the love scene in this story is very hot, super spicy. But what bothered me was probably between Briony and Saint. I don't think Briony needed to do this much. In the end, I don't see what she did to Saint as necessary for the plan to succeed. However, I liked this story! I would recommend this to everyone, but don't forget to read the warning first! P.S. At first, when I saw the cover, I thought it was a horror novel because the cover was so scary. Haha.

Why didn’t I read this sooner?!
This is not a story to read if you don’t like being plunged into a world so vile and twisted that with each turn of the page it just gets more depraved and darker. I happen to crave books like this! It’s a story of lies, deception, and the two people who take it all on to destroy those who have tried to destroy them. I was so destroyed by this book and every emotion it pulled from me that I need time to recover! This is as spicy and naughty as it gets and yet it’s really about embracing the primal parts of us and not allowing the powerful, dirty, evil men in society to mold us or destroy us. It’s got so many powerful meanings that I was left depleted. Their Love is a sick one but they embrace their sick love and turn it into a powerful tool to bring about the revenge they so deserve. Aero and Bri are true hero’s in a world that tries to eliminate them. You’ll be on the edge of your seat and surprised at the secrets that are slowly revealed. This is an erotic dark tale with dark religious leaders. It ends with an HEA that befits this couple ! Well written and a must read 🖤

Dark and twisted
This was my first Jescie Hall book and it delivered on its promises of a dark romance. It was poetically written with a lot beautiful quotes that impacts the story and made me connect more with Aero and Briony. I really enjoyed the religious element of this story and how this was such a deeply rooted trauma for Aero. I truly felt awful for him and about everything he’s been through. The stalking part of this book was good and it was thrilling and exciting to see how it all evolved between Aero and Briony. I liked the MCs and the characters development. Loved the unhinged parts of Aero and how he made a space for Briony to blossom- iykyk. There were a lot of things happening in this book and the trigger warnings should always be checked out before reading. I enjoyed this a lot. A lot of forbidden parts, sacrilegious elements, spicy, spicy scenes, with praise and degradation, and devotion… and a lot of tension and filthy languages- absolutely delicious. I had three points of which I struggled: 1. There were some things that happen, which was quite an important thing to the story. I honestly thought I skipped a chapter because all of a sudden they were discussing a scenario and I was very confused about when that happened. So feeling like I missed a chapter wasn’t that good. I flipped back and checked. I didn’t miss a chapter. 2. There were a few issues with formatting. So some sentences were all edited with symbols in the beginning or middle of the word. Not a huge issue because I understood the sentence. But regardless. 3. This was maybe my biggest issue. There were a few times Aero was discussing his feelings about Briony’s age. She was 20 and he was 29. He said he had been waiting a long time for her and he could finally have her. Then, spoiler alert, we learned she was actually 18. I don’t know. I just got the ick. It wasn’t hot, it was actually creepy. This didn’t ruin the overall experience of the book, but it definitely put a damper on things. Overall it was a good stalker romance with deep emotional depth with a lot of spice. I enjoyed most, until some revelations(read point 3) was unveiled.

Aero is #1 stalker and nothing will change my mind!!!
"You're a woman without a voice, Briony...let me be the throat through which you scream" Every time Jescie writes a book, it becomes my new favorite and That Sik Luv is no exception. I have been blown away once again by the writing skills of this woman. Jescie has the ability to describe things in such detail that it immerses you into each page you're reading. Her writing is completely captivating. The world building and the character development is hands down the best I've ever read. This book is the darkest of dark. It has all of the tropes, all of the trigger warnings, it's kinky, dark, depraved and delicious. There are no words that are accurate enough to describe how amazing this book is. I couldn't wait to "add to cart" and I'll be absolutely feral waiting for it to land at my front door. Aero is not even morally grey, he is pitch freaking black. He is calculating, methodical, dominating, posessive, obsessive, I could go on and on. He is the most amazing character I've ever seen and I doubt that any other man will top him. Briony...I loved this woman with my whole heart. To watch her blossom before us and become the most bada$$ FMC was amazing. I want more of these two and really hope that in the future we'll get it. I would love to see more books that continue on after the end of this book. I would love to see them dish out their own punishment for the wrong doings of those mentioned at the end of the book. I cannot even find the words to describe how much I loved this book. The English dictionary does not contain such words. I highly, HIGHLY recommend that your read this immediately and also that you add the physical copy to your library because it's a book that you'll want to read over and over again. The spicy scenes alone are worth reading again and again. I truly can't wait to see what the future holds for Jescie. I've read all of her books and each one gets better and better. All I can say is bravo and congratulations on this amazing release! “You, Aero, are the throat from which I’ve been allowed to scream" CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS This book contains but not limited to: Spitting Breath play Stalking Religious trauma Cult-like settings CNC Degradation Voyeurism Exhibitionism Somnophilia Graphic depictions of unaliving BDSM Desecration of religious artifacts

great read!
"THAT SIK LUV" by Jescie Hall is a compelling and engaging read that delivers a unique and thought-provoking experience. The book captivates with its intriguing storyline and well-developed characters, making it a worthwhile read for fans of contemporary romance and drama. One of the strongest aspects of this book is its character development. Hall excels at creating multidimensional characters whose struggles and growth feel authentic and relatable. The protagonist's journey is portrayed with depth and nuance, allowing readers to connect emotionally with their experiences. The relationships between characters are complex and engaging, adding layers of richness to the narrative. The plot is both captivating and well-paced. Hall manages to weave together various elements of romance and drama in a way that keeps the reader invested from beginning to end. The twists and turns in the story are executed effectively, maintaining suspense and interest throughout. However, at times, the pacing can feel a bit uneven, with some sections dragging on while others move too quickly. The writing style is engaging and evocative, drawing readers into the world Hall has created. The dialogue is natural and adds authenticity to the characters' interactions. However, there are moments where the prose could benefit from more polish, as some sentences and passages come across as somewhat repetitive or clichéd. The book's themes are thought-provoking and relevant, exploring aspects of love, relationships, and personal growth. Hall tackles these themes with sensitivity and insight, providing readers with a meaningful and impactful reading experience. In summary, "THAT SIK LUV" by Jescie Hall is a highly engaging and emotionally resonant book with well-developed characters and an intriguing plot. While there are minor issues with pacing and prose, these do not significantly detract from the overall enjoyment of the story. It's a worthwhile read for those who appreciate contemporary romance with a thoughtful and authentic touch.

wOW!!
WHAT a dark twisted romance that pushes the boundary of love, obsession, and the line between desire and danger. This book left me speechless and reeling because it doesn’t follow the typical rules of romance; instead it dives into the depths of toxic passion and emotional intensity that can feel both thrilling and deeply unsettling. The story center is on a haunting relationship between two deeply flawed characters that are fueled by obsession, manipulation, and an almost primal attraction. The power dynamics in this book are intense and volatile, keeping the reader on edge as they navigate the tumultuous and dangerous connection between the protagonists. Paul’s writing is raw and unflinching, pulling the punches when it comes to exploring the darker sides of love and lust. What left me really was how deeply hauled delves into the psychology of toxic relationships, capturing the all consuming nature of obsession in the fine line between passion and destruction. The character characters are not always likable, but they are undeniably compelling… each one driven by their own demons, making their choices feel inevitable, even when they spiral out of control. The emotional roller coaster in this book is intense, and the tension never lets up, leaving readers, breathless and questioning what love really means this book isn’t for everyone, especially those looking for a conventional romance. It’s gritty, dark, and at times disturbing. But for readers who enjoy exploring the shadowy edges of desire and relationships, this book is a gripping, unforgettable read that will leave you thinking along after you’ve turned the last page. The way it blends passion with pain, and love with destruction, and makes it a book that lingers in the mind, long after the story ends

.
The writing is amazing !! Yes … have some similarities with Zade (haunting Adeline) but many books has similar plots !! In my opinion I like Zade character like man a lil more, but the deeps in Aero character goes deeper, has true pain that justifies his pleasure in the pain (has a propose), like his obsession and love for her has a story and all goes tying together. It’s a very good book !! The smut parts are vereeery good
