I've had a few different makes. Most fall apart after a couple of years, the metal legs rot. Will be interesting to see how long this lasts as its plastic. Very easy to put together and a wide flute top which should be good for my 8 foot tall plant. I just wish it was slightly wider in the body of frame. Overall I am happy. It does take a while to arrive.

I was a bit disappointed with this item, for some reason I thought it was metal however its plastic. Quite difficult to put together and in the process I snapped one of the parts. Not sure how long it will last. For the price I could have picked up a metal support from the local garden centre.

I'd recommend you buy this before your rose grows too high, like mine. I didn't trim my rose this year and couldn't bring myself to as it was in bud by the time I realised I should've cut it back. I had to assemble the obelisk, and open each ring on one side, so that I could pull the rose into it. Seems flimsy at first, but once you've assembled it, it's pretty sturdy. The poles have little ridges on them (not smooth) to aid climbing plants. I like the umbrella at the top which allows plants to drape over romantically. I tied mine to the fence/existing trellis for extra security, as the neighbours' kids like to play football and occasionally kick the ball over.

Arrived promptly with no instructions but we managed to assemble.It looks lovely with clematis growing within it.

Easy to put together but very weak when installed in garden. Think when plant growsand its windy will break without further supports. Would not buy again

i was expecting a good sturdy item instead i received a box of plastic bits that had no instructions. given that this was not what i would call a cheeper option i am very disappointed.

Easy to assemble and install in garden, now just waiting for the clematis to start to flourish and spread.
