Thomas & Friends BCT65 My First Remote Control Thomas, Thomas the Tank Engine My First Toy Engine, Toy Train for Toddlers

First off I’ve noticed quite a few people have said the remote was dead and couldn’t get it working etc and same happened to me. I had to come back on amazon and read through and then also google it to get help. You need 6 aaa batteries, 3 for remote AND 3 for Thomas for this to work. There is a small screw underneath Thomas between the wheels and once you unscrew that, you get to the battery compartment. Its not made obvious in the slightest and unless you read the instructions ( which let’s be honest who does with these?) you will miss it and struggle. So don’t think it doesn’t work, batteries are needed for both. Once that was figured out, my 2 year old loves this, simple remote control and very easy to use. Happy I bought it

Purchased two of these now and both have been a great hit with the children they were given to. It is very easy to control and is easily operated by a two year old.Only knocked a star off because the motor/gears make a really loud sound when Thomas gets stuck running into something. It scared my son and is something to be aware of if your little one is afraid of loud noises.

The product was a Christmas present for my daughter. I've tested a number of different batteries, tested range, flooring and it does not work at all. I cannot return as its outside the return window but how am I to know if it was bought in September for Christmas. Terrible.

Little one was very excited to find this in the cupboard. Got it out and put in all the batteries but the yellow button on the remote control would not work so could only move forward which was a bit disappointing! We were about to return it (not easy to explain to a toddler) but thought we’d just check inside the remote control. By undoing the 4 screws on the back we then found a bit of the yellow plastic mould had not been removed and was instead under the yellow button blocking it. If anyone has had the same problem with these remote control buttons please check that. Have to say I expected better from a Fisher Price toy.

For the price I was really impressed - my nephew is Thomas mad and he loves it!Only thing I didnt check was just how many batteries it required - meaning we had a very upset little boy who had to wait for the shops to open on boxing day to get 1 extra battery!

This is a great, sturdy, very well made, remote controlled Thomas that our Grandson has had hours of fun with. This was bought to replace the one that our Grandson insisted on taking home with him and then forgets to bring back.It is so sturdy having been driven off the coffee table on several occasions and crashed into walls and furniture on a regular basis. The controls are simple just one button forward and one for reverse. When going forward Thomas goes straight, but in reverse it turns as it reverses enabling it to go back in the opposite direction.The original Thomas was bought for him when he was two years old and nearly a year on it is still going strong and not a mark on it.Really well made and I would highly recommend it.

My grandsons first remote control vehicle. For his 2nd birthday. He loves it and can work it himself. Till he put it in the dogs water bowl and it stopped working. Oh well he had a couple of days enjoyment.😧

I bought this on my DS second bday..he like the train alot.Remote buttons are easy to navigate as they are simple and not complicated like other RC car.The train keep my son busy not long but yeah for some time.Overall it's a funn toy.
