The media could not be loaded. I tested it, but it does not work as smooth as I hoped. A simple test case seems works as expected. Maybe it requires a smooth moving speed. It consumes 26mA when on, should works for 50hours. It consumes less than 1uA current when off, unmeasurable with mA meter, so the battery should last storage life if left in it.

This stuff finder works great. I'm a technician for DirecTV and it works great through stucco and works great for shingles roofs pretty accurate. Very happy. Great product for the value price

El aparato cumple su función pero las lecturas son algo variables y obligan a repetir varias veces el escaneo. El escaneo se obtiene en dos pasos: primero se debe calibrar (inicializar) y luego hacer la exploración. Justamente es la calibración lo que es algo confusa, ya que si se escanea metal o corriente eléctrica se puede calibrar en el aire o apoyado en la superficie. Pero si se escanea madera la calibración debe hacerse apoyado en la superficie. El manual es bastante explícito en este punto. Lo utilicé para instalar una cámara de vigilancia sobre una pared prefabricada de bastidores de madera. El escaner indicó con precisión el tirante de madera y su centro, pero la lectura se contaminó repetidamente con detección de cable energizado en un sitio donde no hay ningún cable. El manual advierte de algunas probables situaciones de contaminación de la lectura pero no era este caso. En términos generales creo que sirve pero tomando precauciones adicionales. Lo considero como una herramienta de uso hobby, que es mi caso y para eso trabaja en el límite esperado.

Funciona muy bien en la detección de metales, cables con energía y madera ….no detecta pvc

Ehh its OK,though my guys and I do like the wiring location detection ...(rarely needed though)as we are very easily able to look at walls and know wiring & plumbing pipe locations based off building trade experiencehonestly - the old Hanson 03040 Magnetic Stud Finder is always our go to stud finderthis HANMATEK has only been used a handful of times by the guys,where the magnetic Hanson one (we have several dozen in the shop) get used DailyFor homeowners/individuals with no or minimal actual building trade work experience, this might be a great tool to have on hand to use, but for experienced building trade workers that know what their looking for from experience the magnetic one is quick and reliable

This tool is a “must have” for hanging items on drywall.

Seems to be a fine product, but the battery in mine has to be installed backwards for it to work. Must have been a new guy putting them together. Just wanted to inform you folks that if it doesn't work, try putting the 9v in backwards. 😁
