Black Waterproof Rain Boot Shoe Cover with Reflector (1 Pair)

If you want super tough ultra rugged water boots (used for work or wilderness purposes) these ARE NOT for you! But if, like me, you just want some light shoe covers to protect your nice shoes from mud and rainwater while walking your dog, or making light treks in your neighborhood, these are perfect. Got tired of ruining nice sneakers and other shoes with mud and water damage during short walks during rainy days. Before I had to go through hassle of hosing off my sneakers or worse putting them in the wash. Now my shoes are protected and I only have to use a garden hose to rinse the mud/rain debris from these shoe covers while my regular shoes stay clean, dry and protected inside. The material for these covers is kinda thin and flimsy...not sturdy enough for long term exposure to intense inclement weather...but perfect for (and a real time saver and excellent protector) in regards to light rain and mud.

This is needed especially if you’re planning to ride year round. I have this sitting in my handle bar bag and I’ve used it so many times during the past 2 months. Kept my work shoes dry so I don’t have to bring a second pair of shoes or socks! Easy to put on and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I carry my rain gear on me at all times and if you’re thinking about riding year round this product is a must have for your kit!

When the sizing guide says the XL will fit up to a 10.5 mens, it definitely means a cross trainer type shoe. For very snug over my Under Armour Charge 10 shoes, but is too small to fit over my Justin boots.With that out of the way, they did a great job keeping my shoes dry while riding in rainstorm. The rubber soles are great and I have not slid on the floor after entering work from the rain. The quick snap and zipper make it easy to put on and remove fast. It's nice to have the logo reflectors in the outside of each cover to help determine right and left foot quicker. May as more to this review later as I get more use of of these.

I bought a pair of these a couple months ago. They look weird, kind of like the shoes they wear in DBZ, but I don't care. I didn't buy them to look cool, I bought them to keep my shoes dry. On that note they work as advertised mostly. Have worn them in a downpour of rain and my shoes stay dry mostly. I do notice that after an 8-10 hour day walking 15 miles in the rain when I take the coverings off there is a decent amount of water inside. I think this is a mixture of sweat buildup and water possible getting in through the single small vent on each shoe. Is what is is.Another positive these have going for them is that they cover your lower leg as well as the shoe. So for me, I wear a rain jacket and then just these with no rain paints because I hate being covered head to toe in plastic for 8 to 10 hours. The biggest drawback to these coverings are that I've only had them for a few months and the tread is almost completely gone on both. If you walk a few miles per day these are probably a very good shoe/boot cover for you. But if you're like me and walk 15 miles per day then probably not. I would probably not reorder these for my line of work.

First these to keep my sneakers and feet dry while working in the yard. While they will keep dew and rain water out, at least for a while, I failed to appreciate how much my feet/legs sweat. The net result on the first two-hour use was…my feet and shoes were drenched with sweat. Subsequent uses resulted in faster water infiltration through various holes in the vinyl material and, presumably, seams and again, sweat.I believe these are more suited for very short duration use on paved or concrete surfaces. Unfortunately , the time it takes me to don these makes that use impractical. A traditional rubber boot (irrigation boot, muck boot, etc.) would be a better value for my use and easier to don, despite having to remove shoes.

Its possible that a XL could still fit my boot but a little slack on top of the boot didnt bother me for my uses. these also fold down to become very thin for storage.
