Fun screen print set
At time of review this is priced at £15.99. Decent value for money for the paint, pre cut stencils and sheets. It’s very easy to use and it’s fun to use and create the pictures. They look pretty good when they’re finished too.Our kids found it fun to use and and have also decided that they’d like to put the designs on t-shirts!Happy to recommend

Great little craft set
The media could not be loaded. My kids ( aged 8 and 14 ) have had lots of fun with this screen printing kit. It's very child friendly and surprisingly easy to use, producing some lovely results. The kit comprises of a small wooden screen- printing frame, 8 different stencils, 3 bottles of paint, 4 large sticker sheets, a squeegee and full instructions. It's very simple to set up and kids can pretty much start using it straightaway with minimal help from adults, although youngsters may need assistance cutting out the stickers. The finished stickers look pretty impressive too! It's advised to use this on a wipe clean surface and I'd personally advise the use of aprons to avoid getting the paint on clothing. Everything cleans up nice and easily after use. My only one gripe is that the 4 sticker sheets included won't last very long. You might, at best get 3 stickers printed per sheet. However, you could still use regular paper or even try it on clothing - we might try it on some canvas bags! Overall it's a great craft set and perfect for keeping youngsters creatively amused for a good few hours.

needs scissors ,messy but good learning kit
This is a nice little kit to introduce people to silk screen printing. It comprises of the 3 paints; Cyan, magenta and yellowSticker paper ;4 sheets, you can print 4 stickers a sheet IF you are very careful with the layout.8 plasticky feeling Stencils ; Bee,Rainbow, giraffe, dinosaur, tortoise, cactus, rocket, spaceshipsmall hard plastic Squeegee1 Silk screen in a wood frameThe prints are a learning curve.Much better to try one first on some smooth paper to get the hang of it before commiting to the sticker paper.16 stickers maximum can be made from the set with careful placing and cutting. The stickers need cutting out .You MUST wash the screen as soon as possible after the print to avoid the paint drying in the meshThe paint is water solluble but is already diluted for the prints .Wash in clean water and use a sponge , you need to be very careful with the stencils when washing them as they are quite thin.Positives..Gives a very basic foundation in screen printing and so could lead to a further interest. Is quick to use straigth out of the boxStencils are for more than one use as is the screen.negs..No scissors.Would have been nice to have 8 sheets of sticker paper as it is easy to forget about placement the first few tries and so waste a lot.Our screen had glue on it .Ongoing...We think it would be possible to make new stencils using plastic from laminating pouches as it is very similar stuff. We are going to try that as a future project. One could make greetings cards by printing straight to card and then folding.Single colour stencils COULD be made and then a print completed in stages. The paint is water based and about pouring cream consistency so it should be possible to replace them as they run out.Worked great as a home school activityAt 14.99 it feels a little pricey .

A great crafty set
Galt are synonymous with British toymaking. The Galt story started as far back as 1836, when James Galt established an educational stockist in Manchester. The Galt Toys division was founded in Manchester in 1961. Children through the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s grew up with these British made toys. These days, as with many of these brands, manufacturing has shifted to China. Despite this, all of Galt’s products comply with or exceed current toy safety regulations (primarily BS EN71 and HD271/BS EN50088), and all carry the CE mark and the BS5665 Lion Mark. This is good to know as a parent of a young child. What you get in this box, is essentially a craft set for your little one. This particular set is aimed at ages 6 years and up. In the set, you get a everything that the art lover needs to create their own screen printed stickers. You get a wooden screen printing frame, 3 bottles of ink, 8 stencils, squeegee, 4 large sticker sheets and a ‘how to’ guide. This is lots of fun to use and give the screen printing artist a sense of ownership over their creations. The size and the price of this makes it an ideal birthday party gift, secret Santa gift or stocking filler.

Good starter set for kids.
I used to do a but of screen printing in college and always knew it was something my daughter would love to try. As luck would have it this little set aimed at kids popped up so I ordered it.It's a fairly basic kit but has everything to get started. The screen, a squeegee, paints/inks, precut masks etc the quality isn't bad considering the price. I would have liked a slightly larger screen but it works fine. The one complaint I do have is the squeegee isn't great. It would have been nice if they had included a rubberised one. As this is your main tool for working the print.Needless to say kids will have fun trying this out and it may inspire them to experiment more with print making.

Stupendous Stickering
My four year old loves stickers so we could not pounce on this opportunity to make our own. It’s really affordable for the fun it offers and it’s really straightforward to do. Only downside is you don’t get a lot of sticker paper( we used it all in one sitting) but it gives you the tools and the skills to do it again.Great solution for indoor play!
