Kids love the pancake shapes

I really wanted to love this as my son loves the shapes but unfortunately one side cooks to a crisp and the other doesn’t cook. On trying to cook the other side more, one side burns. It doesn’t have a lock function and both lights turn on together often before it’s cooked so it’s confusing!

Product cake in as described. Good quality, waffles don’t stick, it’s easy to make. I should have ordered sea world though. It’s hard to put dough into giraffe’s legs 🙄

Thid is nice and very easy to use.The shape of waffle comes out well and I admire it.All you need to ensure is to prepare your ingredients very well and you're good to go.

If you produce a product and label it "Age 8 plus" the assumption has to be that you expect an unsupervised 8-year-old to be able to use the product.And that is how this waffle maker is labelled. 8+. Not “8+ with adult supervision”. Just 8+.I mean it’s a bit obvious perhaps but when turned on this product gets hot. Really hot. You know – hot enough to cook waffles on. Or an unsupervised child’s hand.After all when its on the only indication is some lights on the top. Open it up and the black non-stick surface gives no indication that it is hot.Then – to compound this – the pack does not include any information about how to make waffles.“But everyone knows how to make waffles”.No – everyone with a waffle maker knows how to make waffles.Also, a recipe for waffle batter would be a nice idea?“But everyone knows how to make waffle batter”.“You can look it up online”Maybe. But a) that is hardly the point, and b) which one of the gazillion recipes is the best one for this?Anyway, WITH CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION and an internet search you can make palatable waffles with this.But without supervision you can also brand an elephant onto a child’s hand.

I’m really happy with thus waffle maker, we’ve used it about 4 times now and so far so good! The only thing that is a bit confusing is that when it’s ready, the green light lights up together with the red one. Otherwise all good.
