This wrap smells great, feels great, and holds heat for probably about 45 minutes after 90 seconds in the microwave. Bonus points for how friendly and helpful their staff was when my dog tore the first one open and I needed detailed product info.

Love this hot pack! Stays warm for a good amount of time and wraps around neck comfortably! Smells amazing too. This would make a great gift!

I have chronic back pain/arthritis and use a microwavable hot pack on my lower back every night while sitting on the couch. While the Gaiam Relax Lower Back Wrap is very nice, I have have another favorite right now. (My Heating Pad- Hot Therapy Pack - Natural Heat Therapy - Stress Relief (Blue)1) Function.What I like most about this hot pack is the thickness which is maintained by channels sewn in the fabric, however there is a down side to this. While this hot pack doesn’t get bunched up behind your back I have always preferred packs that allow the rice to flow freely. The reason is because these types of heat packs don’t always heat evenly in the microwave—if this occurs with the free-flowing type you can simply slosh them around a bit to even the temp up while you can’t really do that with the channeled type.One nice thing about the Gaiam is that it does have a thicker fleece side and a thinner fabric side. If you want it a little warmer use the thinner fabric side, cooler use the thicker fleece side.I could do without the strap. You really have to cinch it down to prevent it from sliding if you are going to try and walk around the house.This barely fits in our microwave and the turntable gets stuck so it prevents it from heating as evenly I would like it. I would be careful about folding it over on itself while heating as well. I have had many heat packs and have actually burned a few by folding them.2) SmellIf you are at all hesitant about the scent then do not buy this, I can almost guarantee that you won't like it. As soon as I took it out of the box I was overcome by the scent. My wife also mentioned she did not like the smell after I microwaved it. If you feel like you may want a scent you can always purchase a bottle of essential oil and rub a few drops on the pack yourself. That way you can control the amount and it will likely dissipate over time you decide you don't like it.3) QualityI have only used this for a few days so I can’t speak as to how long this will hold up. The fabric side of the heat pack is thin enough where you can see the rice inside while the fleece seems to be a little sturdier.If you haven’t purchased a rice-based heat pack before just think about what part of the body you while be using it on and try and find a pack about the same size, whether you want it scented or not, and if you want one with channels or not.

I love this brand of heating pad! I first started getting these at CVS years ago but knowing they are on Amazon for half the cost ..& they last!

I bought this because my third pregnancy has my lower back achy pretty much all the time. It's easy to heat up (I fold it in half and heat it for 1:20 in the microwave), stays hot for around 30 minutes, and its the perfect size and length for my whole lower back! I love the smell.... It's not too strong or overwhelming. You can tell it has real lavender inside. The low price made it even better!

This is the second time I've had this exact product. I had the first one for about 7 years. That first one accidentally went through the wash and was ruined so i boight a new one... I have used this one about 4 or 5 times and it melted and got a hole in it! I'm so upset because this had been so great! Don't bother buying this. I'm sure this is a classic case of crappier product for more money. So disappointed. And no I didn't microwave it too long. I microwaved it for the same amount of time I always did for the one that last 7 years!

I love this rice pack. I found one at a discount store first, then bought a second for twice the amount on Amazon, but it lasts so long it is worth it. Scent is not overpowering and the material is soft and comforting. I cut the straps off and use it on my shoulder and neck.

A great treasure. Smells pleasant. Not over powering at all. Heats up well and the material is so pleasant. This item is my best friend right before bed.

I love the smell of lavender, it has lasted quite longer than I expected! I also love that it is double-sided, the fleece side for a little added "cushion" in case it's too hot right out of the microwave and the thinner cloth side. Very, very pleased with this purchase.

I have purchase this warming bag 3 times and in each purchase bought more than one. It's amazing and works so well. I suffer from extreme migraines, this is a life saver. The only reason for 4 stars is it's gone way up in price.
