Good low carb alternative to conventional bread
As a recently diagnosed Type 1 diabetic, I eat a low carb diet to keep my blood glucose low and to avoid the need for much insulin. I do miss things like bread so this was a very welcome addition to my diet. It smells like bread and is great with just butter, sugar free jam or cheese. It’s also extremely easy to make and cook. I will definitely buy this again and be trying the other low carb Sukrin breads.

watch the price
it's expensive for what it is, you'll only get 6 really quite small rolls or one equally small loaf out of the mix- but the bread tastes and feels like bread! As someone with a very delicate tummy they are much easier to digest than many other low-carb bread mixes as well as really tasty, though you shouldn't expect normal bread- adding too much water will ruin the dough and it really needs that time to sit and absorb moisture equally throughout the mix before you shape it into whatever you're cooking. The end product is slightly more crusty on its outer layers and moist in it's centre than you would typically expect, but if you find it to be too moist you can always toast it! recently it's gone up in price again so I would say it's not worth purchasing right now, but this is a really simple and tasty low-carb and gluten free bread mix that is definitely not a bad choice for a little treat when you're really craving that bread consistency... Personally I'd spend up to £4/5 + postage on this mix, but I am aware that for the size of the loaf most people would consider that extortionate and can only say in defence that a slice of this stuff toasted with coconut oil is my personal heaven. Worth checking out local health food stores to see if they have any in stock.

Meh.
For the price, you don't get lot. Mix makes a very small loaf. It was edible but very meh.

Makes a great tasting gluten free, lower carb loaf
I have made about 4 of these loaves so far and really like the taste when toasted. What I have found is that it's best to add a little less water than stated and it is essential to leave 5 minutes after mixing before putting in the tin to bake. Also it is essential to let the loaf fully cool. I always cook this loaf towards the top of my fan assisted oven at 185 C degrees for 55 minutes.

Tiny, soggy, disappointing!
Shocking. Straight in the bin. All the more shocked because there were so many good reviews about this. Big round lump of crust with soggy brown stuff inside. And tiny!! Very disappointed. Bought two packets and am even thinking of sending one of the packs back. This is a lot of money for a poor show.

A positively Glowing review for the little Chia loaf...
Well I like it, like it, Yes I do !!Well a friend made it 4 me 'cos I'm steering clear of kitchen...too many tempting treats are waiting there...He also made a loaf himself from Spelt flour, Einhorn and some other delectable ingredients...and he prides himself on his baking skillsWell this loaf was the Clear Winner !!A Perfect Crust...a Perfect Texture & a Perfect Taste !!Even though "his"'loaf contained Einhorn which Translates as Unicorn grain...This little Chia loaf even surpassed that ...
