Fit the push button bellows into the wedge and then screw the nut under the countertop until it is tightened by hand. Do not use a wrench to tighten the nut. Hope this helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive but it is OEM *by A***W on 19 January 2022* UPDATED: Two years after installation and the rubber seal that forms the air switch supply itself has cracked and is now leaking. It lasted just 10% of the time of the original one. Says a lot about the quality of the materials used! Now need yet another one!Our air puffer for the air switch ran out if ‘puff’ after 22 years and this was bought as a replacement. Glad to say that it is OEM and not a ‘copy’ part.Took about 5 mins to change out. I only needed to cut about 1/2 inch (1cm) off the old air hose and re-attach it to the new puffer.Everything working again as normal. The puffer is expensive, but it is an original spare part and should work for another 20+ years. Came with white & chrome trim. We needed the chrome one. Also includes a long length of clear plastic hose in case you need to replace your (we didn’t). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple replacement for a failed air switch *by A***B on 4 December 2023* The inSinkErator had recently been hard to start and stop, and then one day nothing worked. A bit of a search and I found that others had fixed theirs by changing the air switch. I look at cheaper non-branded items, but selected this one as I expected it to be a simple swap over that I could do myself.This unit comes with both white and silver buttons and surrounds, and I had to switch from white to silver to match the old switch I was replacing. Hardest part of changing the old failed switch for this was clearing out the dishes from the cupboard underneath the switch. Then it was simple to fit and in less than five minutes I was putting the dishes back in the cupboard and the waste disposal was working as it has since we had the kitchen done. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Straightforward fitting *by K***H on 23 July 2022* This was a replacement for the previous air switch which had failed.
