I was repairing electric outlets, when I realized that whoever did a job previously left very short wire to work. That where this lever nut shine. Place this nut over the short wire still in the electric box, then use the extension wire, simple and reliable way to fix the outlet. Excellent holding power. Leaves no damage to wire, can use it many times. Ordered more for all electrical outlets. My only advice for installing it is to wrap the lever with electric tape to prevent an incidental undoing the lever while pushing wires back to box.

They're intended as replacements for AC "wire nuts", Wagos are easier to use, obviously (better with connecting stranded than solid sometimes, IMHO). Feels like a solid, "crisp" connection to most any wire within its rated size range. If you're attempting to use these for DIRECT CURRENT, however, one must consider that current/power is flowing throughout the ENTIRE CONDUCTOR, and that DC is CONSTANT power... TOO MUCH power, and the WAGO ITSELF could possibly become a fuse (read:BURN!)! For DC applications that are obviously low, no problem (just do some ohms law first, and make sure that, based on the ratings of a Wago, it can handle the DC demands). For high-power DC, I would stick with stranded wire and insulated crimp connectors, not a Wago.

Industrial grade quality product. Excellent and firm connections on wires, both solid and multistrand cores. Highly recommend it over wire nuts type connectors. Highly recommended pro grade connectors. Note: on narrow conduit use, for multiple wire usage, stagger the spacing of the splices on the wiring to fit through the conduit.

From a novice low voltage repair guy, stock up with these wire connectors! They solve issues so much easier and completely than others. Surely, they offer more bulk in some cases and situations. But, when it's more convenient, you can easily swap them out (without damaging or defacing the wire or the connector) for a more cosmetically acceptable result.

Made life a lot easier for a mid-level DIY electrician. Highly recommend.
