Obey Your Body Dead Sea Mineral Salt Scrub Ocean Fragrance

I didn't have expectations besides having faith that the scrub is designed to do what it does, and it did! It's tricky because it's subjective. It takes trial and error even with brands that you frequently use. The body is its own universe, constantly changing its own chemical compounds. I say go for it. It comes with quality, no doubt there. The smell is fresh and light (not overpowering), but again, it really depends how you receive it/reacts to you. You might like the ocean-like fragrance in candles, body-wash, or deodorant, but you might not like it on your scrub; so keep that in mind to limit your disappointment. I did feel super clean and light of dirt (you know that feeling?). My skin felt softer even after having rinsed it off with body wash to minimize that oily sensation, I still felt just as moisturized, didn't feel the post shower dryness and didn't feel the need to add more moisture (though I did). It's worth the buy, even if it doesn't become your routine purchase, it's worth adding it to your list ... especially if you are a beginner like me in the dead sea-salt scrubbin' journey. Xo

I bought this product at one of those annoying mall kiosks 2ish years ago with my best friend. When the guy told us that we had to pay over $50 for ONE I was dumbfounded and completely turned off from the idea. We were about to leave yet the guy kept haggling with us until we ended up paying $60 for two. --Honestly I didn't believe him that they cost that much! (Now I'm betting he lost $$ on the sale!) Anyway, I JUST ran out a few weeks ago. (I used it QUITE sparingly!!!) I was so bummed because I use it right before shaving on my legs, and it makes them feel so silky smooth! I also use a finger print sized amount on my bikini line to help prevent ingrown hairs and it has helped tremendously. So I started looking and sure enough it was in fact $50! But now I understand why. This is honestly the highest quality product that I own (I'm not a big pampering girly-girl). However I will always keep this available in my home forever after understanding how amazing it is. If you have the $ and are considering buying this. Do it. It will last you a LONG time if you use it weekly and not handfuls at a time. If you have issues with in grown hairs, it has almost completely eliminated them entirely! My boyfriend even loves it-I give him back massages with it and it completely relaxes him. I've even used it on my 3 year old once or twice who now asks for it constantly. I'm assuming this container will not last as long as the last, however it is still 100% worth it!*Beware though, the salts WILL sting/burn any cuts just like rubbing alcohol will, but this lasts a bit longer, probably because the salt is more of a solid)

My wife and sisters rave about how soft and clean their skin feels after using this scrub. It also smells beautiful and feminine. There simply is no other product that does what this can. It's truly invigorating and the way it boosts her self-esteem is worth it alone.I also can't say enough good things about Brand Warehouse. There was an unfortunate shipping error (it happens) and they resolved it with a rush delivery I received in 2 days. Then by no fault of theirs, the product was damaged and leaked through the box. I simply sent an email and Brand Warehouse had a replacement in the mail for me. They were courteous, professional and prompt. Just what I hope for when I use Amazon.I highly recommend the product as well as the supplier. Great service.

This is the first product of this kind I have ever used so I lack basis for comparison. During transit the oil separates from the salt and after opening the product I used a spoon to stir it up. I bathed first and then used this product. The salt abrasion is nice and helps rejuvenate tired skin, but I was initially alarmed at how oily I felt. The scent is very mild and pleasant, much like I remember the ocean being. After toweling off, the oily feeling went away and all evening my skin felt hydrated and very soft. Usually with just about any soap my skin becomes very dry after I bathe and I have to use lotion often. With this product my skin never felt dry and all the next day I felt more comfortable and scent does not linger. I would say that for people who dislike feeling greasy but want the salt scrub, use this product first and then bathe regularly to remove the oil. Lastly, be careful when using this product in the shower because if you do the bottoms of your feet the residual oil may cause the stall to become very slippery. I did not fall myself and would try to spare others injury. Overall though I like this scrub and plan to use it weekly.

I loved the feel of my hands and face after I had used the product. Will definitely purchase it again when I finish the product.

I was laughing in reading some of the other reviews when I was shopping for this product. I had a very similar experience with a pushy saleswoman in the mall. She even lowered the price to get me to buy it. (Still way more that what I paid for it on Amazon.) But after the product sat on my shelf for maybe close to year, I said the the hell with it. I own it, I may as well try it. And it's amazing! I'm a little OCD & I wash my hands a lot, so they get pretty dry in the winter. And this stuff works wonders! I also recommend getting the body butter to accompany the salt scrub, it makes your skin even softer.

This product has a nice scent. However, it does leave a sticky feel to your skin after use. Not as good of a scrub as I have used in the past. You will need to use a soap or body wash afterwards.

The best body scrub ever hands down. My dad got stopped by a salesperson in the mall and gave me the purchase. My skin is baby soft after using it once! I use on my legs after shaving bc I like the oils to stay on my skin. I suppose you could use it before and after you shave for better exfoliation but I get no shave bumps or razor burn. I have pretty sensitive skin and this has been a miracle product! Smells so fresh as well great buy
