I have had mine for over 6 months and use it all the time. We now have succulent slow roasted meat that is still cooked to our taste (rare) and jam sets every time. All the cooks in the family have been getting one for a present.

Poor performance
After only a few months the outer insulation on the probe cable has unravelled and broken up and the temperature reding has become unreliable
