This book actually has similar calculations I saw on my Masters test in Texas.
I recently took my Master Exam in Texas and I did not pass. I studied but didn't use material like this book. It actually has calculations I saw on my test that I wasn't in anything I studied. After just 4 units I am now understanding why I didn't pass. This book is great. I walked out of test not knowing what my next move was. I found this book it has been great.

Helpful to a point.
Using this to study for a Master Exam and I'm finding the material covered, at least in the study units before the mock exams has been geared toward the more difficult parts of the test and should be really helpful. What I'm not finding helpful are typos and inconsistencies which make studying more challenging.Examples: on page 160 for the answer section it says "4,480 VA at 40% = 2,240 VA" It should say 50% pulling from Table 220.45 to make that math correct. On page 180, Question 13 I reached the answer of "A. 100 amperes" but the answer key in the back says it's "B. 125 amperes" because they multiplied it by 125% for being a continuous load. But, when you went through the Unit on pages 164, 165, 173, 174, 176, 177 it states that you only use 100% of the load when you are looking for the demand on the service which is what Question 13 is asking for.Being that I haven't finished the study guide and glossed over the parts rather hastily that I have a good understanding of, I really hope there aren't more typos and incorrect answers. The plus side is I already went through the state's study course that only seems to be geared toward journeyman testing and found the same situations where the answers were trying to say you could put 183 amp load on 1/0 Al feeder and an orator who stutters and fumbles over his words going back and correcting himself for that low price point of $400. This is definitely a better bargain, just wish it was properly proof read and tested before being sold.

Too many errors and incorrect math
Apparently they distributed the rough draft. It throws into question the validity of the entire book.

Dont waste your time or money on this!!!!!
Questions in the book give wrong answers. I went to the answer key and the book says D 405.5 Exception. Clearly the exception says 8 ft RAY!!!! not 10 or 12. Wasted 60 bucks on this crap.

Kindle is awful
The Kindle version is missing images and the formatting is terrible.
