I had my 20 year old jacket that I used in my garden, shed and workshop etc and it was a right old wreck, soaked up water, but I like it and it keeps me warm. I saw this dubbin and bought a tub - nothing to lose except a few quid. What a brilliant decision, I have added some photos which I took as I was applying the dubbin - I took photos because after the first few rubs I could see an amazing transformation. I gave it a fair dollop all over and hung it in the conservatory for a couple of days, it all soaked in completely so I gave it another dollop all over and hung it up for another three days, then I wore it and it rained - brilliant, the rain began to form bubbles on my jacket and run off, so when I got home and after it dried completely I gave it another real good dousing all over , and now my old jacket is back to "good as new". The photos were taken after the first application and the finished product is truly amazing, just a bit of time and effort, a few quid spent and a brilliant result. I recommend this product very very highly

Waterproof my hike boots before any big hikes or camps and the dubbin never fails. I have been ankle deep in water at times and it just glides off.Walking through long grass takes it's toll as well but it never gets down to the leather. Colour is great for my boots as well as it returns them to the original brown colour when applied and keeps the leather from cracking.Would recommend to anyone who wants to keep leahter items waterproofed or looking as good as it was on day one.

Proper dubbin at a realistic price. Well pleased.

I wanted to add some waterproofing to my brown leather boots as well as some shine. This product does both really well. It does takes a bit longer to dry off (compared with normal polish) before you can buff it, but it looks great when finally done. You get a really deep shine which repels water well. I was surprised by how large the tub was for the price. I'll be handing it down to my kids at this rate of usage! Very pleased with this purchase.

I am outdoor every day and this keeps my feet dry. Easy to apply with a small brush. Work it into seams and leave it to dry. The best test of any dubbing is walking through wet grass and having dry feet. This passed the test

Great product for walking boots, whether old or new. Puts new life into leather and adds waterproofing qualities. I used the brown product which also stains well.

Happy with my purchase.My hiking boots always look perfect. My boots had a ‘life time guarantee’ obviously very expensive. The heels wore out after 6 weeks and were replaced free of charge. The guy in the shop commented on how well they had been cleaned and polished. All down to the dubbing.

I previously bought the black one and was so impressed with its performance I decided to order the brown as well. Unlike other dubbin I have used, it is easy to apply and is absorbed thoroughly in a relatively short time. It is then just a case of buffing up and my walking boots look like new. I have worn my boots in the rain and long wet grass and they were completely waterproof.
