Nijna fibre!
It dissolves so well you can't tell it's in your drink, even if you use a lot. It's tasteless, textureless, odourless. I've not had any gastro issues, even when using fairly large amounts (up to 15g a day).Inulin only contains soluble fibre, so if you're really focusing on increasing fibre, you'll need to make sure you're getting enough insoluble fibre too. But if you're looking to keep your digestive system moving, this stuff seems to work realy well without you even noticing you're using it.

Very helpful supplement
Very happy with this product. I bought it to avoid periods of constipation and then painful hemorrhoids, I've been using it now for 2 months and am now taking 2 generous teaspoons per day in my coffee which feels like the optimal amount for me having worked steadily up a little at a time. It dissolves very well in hot drinks. There is little to no taste except for a very gentle sweet flavour which is pleasant. The only side-effect I had was severe flatulence (no bloating though) every evening for about 6 weeks, then that just stopped and it seems to be plain-sailing. And bowels are now regular and easy and well-formed. Really glad I found this and it seems very good value for money too as 1 pack will last me about 5 months I estimate. Highly recommended.

Cost effective fibre supplement
This is not a sugar substitute and the only property in common is that its taste is predominantly sweet. However, it's also slightly bitter and has none of the culinary properties of sugar. Leaving behind the sugar fantasy, inulin is an almost palatable source of fibre that's incredibly cheap compared to fibre supplements. If you need a fibre boost, mixing this into natural yogurt or a smoothie is a decent option. While I can't say in truth that inulin tastes good, it's definitely less traumatic than gulping down an equal dose of psyllium husks.

Good product that works for me!
Great product. Works well. I keep a cup full in a jar and use that daily and keep the rest sealed up in the bag. Otherwise it tends to clump together.
