Rare Scented Orchid Phalaenopsis Orchid Plant Bolgheri - Orange Blooms in 12 cm Pot 45 cm Height

Wow this is probably the best orchid I've ever bought and I've bought a few store bought orchids. It came really well packaged and a lot of care was put into it. The plant itself i really healthy with bright green leave and vibrant colourful flowers. It comes in a generic clear plastic pot with a bit of orchid compost so I would advise re potting it but make sure to use orchid potting compost I am trying a self watering wicking pot. Overall I am very pleased with the orchid and it does have a subtle pleasant scent to it.

It was a bit late coming but I had it in time. It was for one of my friends Birthday and when she opened it she was very very pleased with itI had to wait till it arrived but I was pleased with it also.

Minus 5 stars! my worse purchase on Amazon. the plant is small and very weak. it was squeezed in a box much shorter than the plat so both stems with flowers were snapped. the wood chips from the pot are all over the package and roots are fully exposed. this is definitively not a product for this price, you can get a better orchid for a tenner in the supermarket. I keep the plant because I feel sorry for it - it will not make it back in this state and probably will be dumped. the scent is very weak and I'm not sure if it's pleasant - more like smell of grass.

Pretty and abundant flowers but the reason I bought this was the scent. There's no scent I can discern at all and given the price i expected more

It’s alright for a collector if you wish to add to your collection in the hopes of it re blooming, however, if you wish to enjoy a blooming orchid for a while save your money. Majority of blooms shrivled and fell in less than a week. Compared to a Tesco orchid I got in November which is still full of beautiful flowers and was only £12 I do not seem this good value for money. Fingers crossed that this one reblooms because if it doesn’t it’s totally not worth the money at all. also I noticed that on a lot of other customer pictures there are 3 stems, mine only came with 2. Those 2 stems are fixed in an unflattering way in which the branches with blooms were tangling together. Overall not worth the money at all.

What a lovely and beautiful plant and the colours are fantastic. I am so glad that I bought this plant and it has brightened up my kitchen so much. It loves it in my kitchen and seems the right spot for it and it looks really healthy too.
