A pH balanced mouthwash
This is a great mouthwash! Mouthwash isn’t necessary for dental hygiene as I’m sure many know these days, but I like the feeling of the fresh breath and clean that it gives me before I brush my teeth with toothpaste. The problem with most brands of mouthwash these days is that the majority of them are actually acidic! Most supermarket brands are below the pH of 5.5 at which enamel demineralises and can actually cause cavities! I am a chemist by training so I was curious to test the pH of this mouthwash when I got it and I’m pleased to report it is in the 6.5-7 range, safe for your teeth and maybe just about in the range for optimal salivary pH. In terms of the mouthwash itself I think it’s a good all rounder product - it has added fluoride so is good to add extra cavity protection to areas you can’t reach with a toothbrush and/or floss. It is also a sensitivity toothpaste that contains KNO3, an essential ingredient to supporting sensitive teeth in hard to reach areas. Also no alcohol which is good as that is a huge red flag in mouthwashes and will again damage your mouth! The taste finally is a nice mild mint which is freshening but not too harsh. This is worth the price and can sometimes be found on prime at a slight discount too so pick it up when it’s available.

Best you can get
I must say this is my favorite mouthwash. It has a very dentist-y taste which I like (makes my mouth feel cleaner lol) and it’s very mild.

best mouthwash
I use this mouthwash with Sensodyne toothpaste and find that the taste isn’t as strong as other mouthwashes. Leaves mouth feeling fresh and without too much of a ‘burning’ sensation that is caused by some other brands. Would recommend for use with any toothpaste — but best combination would be with Sensodyne toothpaste for those with sensitive teeth.

How useful is mouthwash coupled with the right toothpaste
I have to admit to questioning the value of mouthwash coupled with the right toothpaste. Surely a mouthwash can strip the advantages of the right toothpaste from your mouth in its aim to tingle and make you whole mouth seem fresher. This time I have decided to use Sensoldyne toothpaste and the associated mouthwash. My teeth are sensitive to hot and cold and I am using both products as directed. The mouthwash doesn't tingle, it is quite bland in taste but I do feel it leaves a fresh feel to my mouth without undoing the point of the enamel repairing quality of the toothpaste. To date I am using it twice pet day as directed.Essential? I don't believe so, helpful, certainly.
