In space, no-one can hear you yawn.
Quite boring really. Minor excitement towards the end, but really quite boring. Lots of unecessary politics and character expansion, when I would have preferred a more descriptive kind of prose regarding space vessels and their exact specifications/sizes/masses. I intend to go to the outer reaches of our solar system and this story had nothing in it I could use.

This day all gods die review
All the loose ends of this complex and highly entertaining series are neatly tied up in this engrossing novel.

A great read.
The final installment in the Gap sequence, a fast paced dramatic space opera by Stephen Donaldson, well worth a read by any sci-fi fan.

Amazing
Last book in a brilliant series. I couldn't bear it to finish but will be glad to catch up on my sleep, as I have read all the books one after the other. I think these might even be better than the Covenant books - and they were awesome. Stephen Donaldson's examination of the dark and light sides of humanity and all the complexities that brings is riveting and emotionally exhausting and his potrayal of the power of redemption and triumph over adversity is gratifying, even if it raises many questions of morality. Thrilling plot(s), where you are never really sure what is going on and who is motivated by what! I feel bereft - don't know what I am going to do now - I can't imagine there'll be many books or series' to equal these.
