This is the 3rd quick-access safe I've owned, and probably my favorite one to date.I picked this up to lock up pistol mags in a locked equipment room - a second layer of security just for peace of mind. My other quick-access safes are used to house their intended contents, and this one from TurboSafe might just replace one of those eventually since the scanner works so well.Pros:1. Easy setup takes less than 3 minutes. Add batteries, program your PIN, scan your fingerprint, and you're done.2. The door pops open with force, and opens completely.3. The fingerprint scanner works very well. I get a lot of bad reads from my other biometric safes - this one so far gets a good fingerprint read on just about every try.4. You can punch in random numbers before or after your PIN if your PIN is less than 7 digits, making it difficult for onlookers to spot your PIN.Cons:1. You can only scan and save a single fingerprint, which is problematic. If you find yourself without use of the scanned and saved finger, you're stuck with just the backup PIN. Other quick-access safes I own allow up to 10 fingerprints to be scanned (think multiple for yourself, a spouse, a trusted backup, etc).2. You can only have 1 PIN saved at a time.3. No connected features, apps, failed entry alerts, etc. But at this price point you won't find many that offer those little extras.Overall this is a nice little quick-access safe. If you've had trouble getting consistent fingerprint reads out of biometric safes in the past, this one has a very good scanner and has worked quite reliably so far.

As long as the fingerprint reader keeps working well, it is a nice little gun safe. It requires too many digits to open with the combo. You have to remember a 6 digits and they are hard to find in the dark. So I only use the fingerprint reader. It is heavier than other ones I have. Kids can not get in. It can be bolted to the floor or wall. It shows an optional cable lock so no one can just walk off with the box. I thought it came with the cable lock. It doesn't.

Fingerprint reader is broken and couldn't setup since new no problems with the keypad and key

We got this for keeping our guns safe inside the home. Especially when our grandkids come over. I was able to set this up very quickly. It works great. My wife and I both put our fingerprints in the reader. It was super easy and it has worked for both of us every time. I also like the fact that you can use a 4-digit code and add the extra digits to the beginning, end, or both and it still works. All that is necessary is to put your code in the proper order somewhere in the 7 digits. The safe overall appears to be very well made. I haven't tried but I am confident it would be very hard to break into. I also like the fact that you can screw it down from the inside. And they have a thin layer of foam in the bottom that protects your valuables from the screw head. It looks exactly like the photos or I would have included my photo. I haven't found anything that I don't like about it. I have seen other reviews that talk about the electronics taking up a large portion of the box. That might be partially true but it doesn't bother me nor do I think it takes away from the ease of use. I suppose if you were hurting for space that might be an issue. But as I said, for me it is not an issue. I have other gun safes this size and I would not hesitate to order this item again.

We transfer this from home to our RV to keep firearms secure wherever we are. Didn't realize the supplies placed on top of it were either activating the buttons or fingerprint sensor draining the batteries. No way to change the batteries when it's locked. Keys are at home. Now we are on the road and cannot access our firearms. Very disappointing and could even be deadly if they would be needed. Batteries should be accessible from the exterior like other safes!!! Or just include a USB charging port accessible from the exterior to provide power to open. This feature would change this review to 5 stars! Otherwise it's a good safe.

This gun safe seems pretty secure. I kind of wished it had come with a security cable, but there is a slot on the back of the safe to put a cable lock. I probably won't use the mounting hardware that was included. I'd much prefer using a cable for safekeeping.The setup was quick and easy. I'm not a huge fan of the 7-digit code setup to get into it, so I'll be predominantly using the fingerprint reader. Other than that, I had both 7 digit passcode and biometric fingerprint set up within 5 minutes. The fingerprint pad is the only thing that lights up on it. I think it would have been a nice feature to see the digits light up when going to put in the code. If it's dark, it's hard to see the numbers on it, even if there are only four buttons.The safe is heavy-duty and should suffice for keeping my guns safe. This safe could be used for storing valuables as well. I know it's not water-resistant, but I'm wondering if it's fireproof. I didn't see any detail regarding that.Overall, it does the job of protecting my guns. It's portable and easy to take with me if needed. I plan on buying a cable to secure it.

The media could not be loaded. This is a fantastic, safe! The material quality is much higher than I expected. There are three methods for accessing your belongings. You can either use the biometric fingerprint, numeric code, or keys. Set up is incredibly easy as I demonstrated in my video. Literally up and ready to go within a matter of 15 seconds. There is an option to mount it on the wall, but I probably will just tuck it under my bed. The code or prints can also be reset by simply holding the inside button for 10 seconds.
