I've tried budget DIY approaches and those flimsy, step-in plastic posts, but they are all crummy in the end. This product is FAST, easy, and works beautifully. It keeps the lines nice and tight, yet it's easy to change at the end of the season or to reconfigure, and the insulator screws can be reused. I didn't try the screw-in adaptor for the drill, just drilled pilot holes and quickly spun the insulators in by hand. I like how the distance from a surface can be adjusted by how deeply the insulator is screwed in, and how easy they are to use on any wood--trees, fences, posts, buildings.It's so easy to fall for hype, and end up disappointed and broke, but these are such an improvement in quality and easy of use that I'll never use anything else.

Bought with other products for our property. These were easy to use and have had no problem with them breaking.

Earlier in 2025 I installed almost 4,000 feet of electrical fence wire requiring hundreds of these individual insulators and I recall maybe one broke during the installation process - and the drill tool greatly facilitated screwing into fence posts. In the intervening months those I installed have held up well. Very happy with this purchase.

I wish the slots were smaller and at more of an angle. It's easy for the wire to pull out if there's not enough tension. That being said it works and I've fenced of about 6 acres of forest with 4 strands for my goats.

I ordered some recently from another vendor and boy i wish I didn't. These products are far superior, longer screws and sturdier insulator. I will surely buy from this vendor in the future. I also love the tool it comes with.
