Excellent solution for LED strip lighting when you want to hide 1) the strip 2) angle the light 3) cover a joint. Great value for 3m of this aluminium profile with diffuser and fittings.Unlike other reviews I found this easy to fit and easy to get good joints, but I did think about it all before rushing in and used a couple of handy tools to make life easy!As well as the usual pencil/ tape/pilot drill diy stuff, I found having a magnetic bit holder on my driver helpful with fiddly screws held on high, plus a slim mastic-trowel helped ease the brackets open so the profile clipped in quick.I measured placement of the brackets accurately, getting them right into the corners and placed one at each end of each strip, with another in the centre. To fit the profile into the bracket I used a ‘top in first’ method, then clipping in the bottom by using the thin flat end of my mastic trowel to slightly open the bracket. Finished off by sliding the profile along within its brackets to butt up the joint.A little patience and thought and it turned out well, for the cost (c£20 for 6M inc delivery) I’m absolutely delighted.Used this in my van conversion roofline for roofline 12v led lighting - perfect!Yet to have my light strips connected/fitted, but very impressed with quality, value, speedy delivery and ease of fitting/finished look - 5* from me!

First off the pictures show my 2 lengths of led lighting, one I have fitted the defuser to and the other I haven’t. Its your choice if this is what you are after but I don’t think any will not show the individual LED whilst also letting a good amount of light throughThey give a far better look when the lights are off and a softer look when the lights are on. I’ve dropped a star as the defusers do not seem 100% consistent in opacity.They are a bit of a faf to fit but are light enough so I’ve only used 2 clips per length but that seems adequateGood value for money and improves the overall look of the led strip lights, I think the effect would be even better if the were hidden as cupboard up / down lighters or otherwise hidden.It did take me 2 hours to fit for a 5 meter length so allow plenty of time.

Really useful item. Bit tricky to get the cover to sit right but not too difficult once you've got the hang of it. I found being a bit rough with it persuading it to sit in the grooves worked well. Would definitely buy again.

Well made and ideal for the job requirement, very pleased

Decent product overall, but there are no 90 degree electrcal connectors that fit the 90 degree link pieces, and most importantly the translucent diffusers do not stay well-secured in the aluminium gutter. It is supposed to be a friction fit, but I had to tape it down.

Fitted these into my sons bedroom and he loves these, makes the led runs look professional and smart. First I installed the holding clips onto a black painted long wooden baton. Then once happy they were in line and even, secured the baton to the wall with screws and rawl plugs, then placed the aluminium channels into the clips thereby hiding the fixing screws. They make a nice click sound when inserted. Then ran the self adhesive led strips along the channel, I didn’t need any extra glue as they adhered well to the aluminium.Finally I installed the diffusers, I did have a little difficulty with the first one, but by the 2nd I had it down. I found inserting one end in at an angle allowed it to fit into the channel and then ran my fingernail along the edge pushed the the diffuser in easily.Unfortunately the photos I took don’t do it justice, the diffuser does a good job of softening the led lights and helps to give a more even glow.Can’t wait to start placing them all over the house now.Awesome product.

Good quality, but it does dim the light slightly

Ma bande de LED fait 11.5 mm de largeur, j'ai acheté ce profil en étant sûr que ça rentrera dedans. Mais la largeur réelle de profilé n'est que de 11.2 mm au lieu de 12 mm annoncéPour le reste le profilé n'est pas mauvais et est fourni avec tous les accessoires pour accrocher.

The rail is good no problems there, the diffuser is total crap. I see lots of hotspots, I 3d printed better ones to use instead.

De clipjes om ze op te hangen vindt ik niet zo mooi, ik heb dubbelziijdig tape gebruikt om ze op te hangen.Ook is de rail net te small om de clipjes te gebruiken om de ledstrips te verlengen zonder te solderen. (dus ik heb ze maar aan elkaar gesoldeerd)Maar de rails en afdek plaatjes zijn super strak, heel blij mee.2mm breder en ik had ze 5 sterren gegeven.
