Ive used 2 of these torches ( AP70) on my actioncam diving set up in uk waters and so far I'm pretty impressed.The lights are pretty bright especially on the focus / narrow beam. However, I ve mainly used it with the wider diffuse beam for videoing. The video was taken at 40m, but they have been deeper and have not leaked.The only thing I don't like is the switch which you can rotate 360 either direction, which makes it harder to change the light setting and then locate the on/off. It would be better if you rotate say clockwise to switch on, cycle the different light settings and then you have to rotate back the other way to switch off.Also, it seems to take a long time to fully charge up the battery.Anyway minor points, and if it continues to function the way it has , then these torches are extremely good value.

I bought two of these to replace two MASSIVE cheap video lights I was using. These are tons lighter and easier to deal with batteries after dives. Instead of worrying about 4 batteries per light I only have to deal with 1 per light. The weight savings alone of going from 4 18650 batteries per light to a single 26650 (or even single 18650 if I want to have a shorter run life) is worth it.Now they aren't nearly as strong as my larger lights, but I have found them to be plenty for open water dives. If I was planning a trip to cenotes or exclusively in large wrecks I might still take one of my large lights, but I'm on the fence about that.
