Bought to make an Aran blanket , in granny squares , so I ll use it up but very thick wool. More a dusky copper colour but cheerful

I never expected this to be so soft and easy to use. I love it and will be looking for more colours

I ordered the colour 'Scarlet' and clearly this colour is far from red. I was looking for a nice deep burgundy type of colour and Scarlet wasn't far from that. It's a shame really as this would be lovely if it was listed as the deep mauve/ purple colour that it is. It is however lovely to crochet with and feels nice, just overall disappointed with the extreme difference in colour. I'm aware the colour in pictures can always be different to real life but to me with the picture and the fact it was called Scarlet means it should be red, this colour isn't red at all! So for that I deducted 2 stars.

This is really good wool I brought this wall before Always knits up nice. Makes a very warm winter cardigan I recommend this wool to anyone Also good value for your money
