Great werewolf mini for price.
Love these werewolf figures. I'm new to painting minis and they came out great. They are well made. Don't come with bases, you will have to make your own base.

Great for a D&D campaign!
I am a DM for a long-running Dungeons & Dragons campaign, and bought these intending to use a werewolf miniatures. Overall, I am very happy with them; the detail is great, and they seem pretty durable. They do have some issues staying upright when someone inevitably kicks the table by accident during combat, but that's pretty typical of most minis. They do seem to be bigger than official/standard D&D miniatures (see attached photo), so if you're planning on using these for D&D keep that in mind--it works for me, but if you have a DM (or are one, yourself) that is strict about Size categories of creatures then these may not work. I also don't know if these can be painted--I personally have no intention of painting them, so if you choose to do so I can't provide any advice on that front.Overall, I'm happy with the product and would recommend it to other D&D players and DMs. I'm not giving it the full 5 stars because they are bigger than I expected (again, not a huge issue for me personally but it might be for others) and they do have some issues staying upright during play (particularly the one that is "howling" at the front of the photo). I also am hesitant to give it 5 stars not knowing if they are paintable. Still, it's a great product at a decent price and I plan to use these for many sessions of my campaign!

Surprisingly Good Figures
These are a very pleasant surprise! There are few fantasy minis in 54mm scale, and these are very nice. Make no mistake they are 54mm scale - READ THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION!!!!! (I've seen too many reviews that knock a product because ¨it's too big for Warhammer¨ when the size of the product was clearly indicated.) Excellent detail. Each mini is different with distinct armor and weapons. They stand up pretty well on their own, but I think a base would be good if you're going to be trying to use them on anything besides a flatt smooth surface. The plastic took paint well. (They come UNPAINTED like in the product pictures.) I like to game in 54mm, but fantasy has always been an underserved market. These minis at a great price are a good addition.

Now THESE are toy soldiers!
Perfect size for both painting and play! I'm ordering ALL of them!Paint pens, permanent markers, and acrylic paint for model kits all work well.

Opinion of an experienced modeller
So I had a crazy idea for my wife's Space Wolves army. You see, they have this one kind of unit called wulfen, that are basically semi-feral, werewolf-like humans. But what if that transformation went even further? What if the wulfen became even MORE wolf-like?After scouring several other options, I settled on these. At 54mm scale, they're pretty big -about like ogryns, if you're familiar with 40k- and they're also pretty cheap. Solid, but relatively low detail, with mold lines like plastic green army men. To be totally honest, I picked these almost exclusively because of the low price point. I knew I would be hacking them up and performing major bitz and green stuff work.Overall, I'm fairly well pleased. They are fairly sturdy plastic which made modifying them a breeze. They did take ALOT of work to get table-ready, and they do still look somewhat big next to their less-feral wulfen counterparts, but they took paint well and match the Space Wolves thematically (now that they're holding Storm Shields, Thunder-Hammers, etc. and covered in Space Wolf iconography)Even for an experienced builder/painter, and despite the very attractive price point, this is probably going to end up being a one-time purchase. Not bad, just not good either.

Awesome
These guys are badass. I love them. I run an adventure gaming club for rowdy middle schoolers and there's no way I'm going to take fine scale figures with hours of painting in to play. We do army men and pie-plate flying saucers and oatmeal box guard towers. These guys don't break the bank and they totally raise the bar for our tables. This summer, when I have some discretionary time, I'm going to paint a couple. They're great. Totally recommend.

Great minis for painting
These minis are 54mm which is slightly large for D&D and other miniature games, but for werewolves I didn't mind the slightly larger size. The sculpts are simple and lack minute details, but the bigger size makes painting them a snap. They do not stand very well on their own. So, I added the bases. Here is what they look like fully painted. Not a bad deal for $10.
