The impact upon the taste of your coffee may be debatable. However, the ease of making a good, uniform, solid puck is undeniable. Also, this is beautifully well made. It is a joy to look at and hold in your hand. Well designed. The wood is of high quality and beautiful. I have two of these, set for different depths, since I have filter baskets of various sizes. I can easily tell them apart by the grain of the wood. They are a joy to look at, a joy to use, and do seem to improve the coffee a bit. Reasonably priced, especially for the meticulous workmanship.

Beautiful, sturdy, and will last a lifetime. I’m beyond impressed with this product.

Great cutting board, It stays on my counter and I use it every day to prep meals. I added little rubber feet to the flat side to elevate it a little off my counter. Otherwise it has been perfect for almost a year.

This cutting board is thick, sturdy, lay flat on the counter. This size is perfect too. Above was my original 5 star review. Update: bought in November. Cracked and warped to the point of not useful in March. This is the shortest lasting board I had ever used.

First it is beautiful and functional - I would buy again. Mine cracked, because of water on the counter. I think this should have feat to keep it off the counter. At first I used silicone pads, they had a waffle pattern, and held the board in place and off the counter - GET THESE . Coffee pot leaked and went un-noticed, it was a little standing water, under the board. Debating to buy a new one or just cut out the crack and glue the boards back together. The key is to let it dry out and see what crack is left. Cracking is what wood does, noticing how mine cracked, it was in the wood not the joints which means it was a good build. The capillary action of wood, with water, can crack rocks. Wash your boards, by hand, AND KEEP THEM DRY AND OILED.

Chopping Board stays in place while chopping vegetables

Really gorgeous, solid wood quality cutting boards. It's very hard to find cutting boards that are not treated with mineral oil (petroleum). These are finished with Linseed oil, Lemon oil, Bees wax, and Carnauba wax which are much better and safer for food contact. I can tell a lot of care was put into the crafting of these cutting boards and I highly recommend these cutting boards.

I love our cutting board. We ordered the black walnut 11x 18 and it’s a beautiful board and well worth the price. I wanted a display cutting board for our countertop to go with our knife set and it’s quite a statement item. Doubled sided use and a juice gutter is awesome. I’ve been using it for almost a month now and it is extremely durable, still have no scratches on it. I hand wash and dry right away and rub it down with olive oil to keep the appearance, haven’t noticed any warping or imperfections. Would definitely order again.
