Works wonders
I did a ton of research and spent days going through specs of clippers and ultimately landed on this one, as it was the best deal for the price point and performance. I have 2 pups and do their haircuts at home and these clippers made the job so much easier and faster. I did also purchase a skip tooth blade to assist in the cuts and the detachable blade clip made it super simple to change out.The only con is that it is a heavier set of clippers, and being corded only drags it down a little more. This is totally fine for the average home groomer only spending an hour or two every few weeks, and this corded option is much less expensive than the other cordless ones.

Quality product
This clippers is a great clipper for all breeds. Nice long plug. I swap out the blades every time they get hot. Instead of using the cool spray, I have three extra. It runs fast you get a great clip but in return blades get hot. Which I think is normal. I would definitely buy this again if I ever need to but I believe it’s going to last a really long time.

High Quality, Quiet, Durable...our old pair was nearly 20 years old when we replaced them with this upgraded model.We have two Doodles and this pair already has several uses!

Works great on Matted fur
My Maine Coon, which wont let anyone but myself get near him. Let alone with any type of shaver tolerates this quieter razor as long as I am holding a treat for him to gnaw on while I am going about it.Pros:Works exactly as intended - thin or thicker fur alikeGets rid of mats beautifully - just take your time.Cons:It can get HOT if you are not careful. Make sure you are testing this every minute or so as to not burn your animal (It wont burn them, but it does get 'uncomfortably' hot to the point they will not tolerate it anymore.)You do have to oil this oftenneutral (depends on your usage)Just know that the blade DOES need replaced eventually - but it is dependent on how much you use it.

Not for golden doodle hair. Too thick.
Does not work well on golden doodle hair. I used the spray almost after every pass and it wouldn't cut through the hair. I even brushed it out and made sure it wasn't matted. Still didn't work very well. Disappointed.

Cuts smoothly but blade gets extremely hot very quickly
I bought these clippers to cut my 12# wirehaired/longhaired dachshund. They do cut his hair very well, it about glides through his hair. However, the blade gets hot extremely extremely extremely quick. I do have additional blades to be able to change out while clipping thankfully because I had to rotate blades every 4 or 5 minutes. Even within that small amount of time running, the blade was super hot. I hope he doesn't end up with any clipper burn. The clippers themselves didn't seem to feel hot to hold while grooming and they are quieter than some I've had but they aren't super quiet
