The Tenth Realm: The Ten Realms, Book 12

Great read(s)
I just finished reading the last book (12 of them). The reads are fast paced with good (and logical) story lines. The author has done a great job building this fictional world out. Once you start be prepared to not put the books down. Oorah!

great series
I loved the series a great combination of action crafting and character development. The world building was excellent. I will look for more from Chatfield

Epic "Star Wars" LitRPG Story Arc for Sale
Impressive effort in creating complete world. But the wordcrafting falls far short of allowing it to be called a masterwork. Maybe the series was written with ambition to sell movie or TV series rights. If the author realized that he was wasn't going to be controlling the script.... Yeah I would not put more than minimum effort into details either knowing that in general books are usually unrecognizable in film except General plotline and key name. An attempt to imitate Star Wars success as easy to watch fare would also account for heavy use of familiar cliches and military tropes even after previously stating that magic made equipment obsolete above realm four. Use of modern military derived gear by main characters/Alva military will greatly decrease wardrobe costs. Chaotic mass attack magic is also a big money saver for scenes with extensive special effects -- nothing cheaper than fireworks effects that obscure lots of scene details by design. Good luck to the author seling rights of that was his intent. Good luck to us in the buyer producing at least watchable B-grade show.

Awesome! Set of books
This was really a joy to go through all these books. Hard to put down ever increasing storyline. Great character development and a very satisfied ending. Almost hope the main two characters at least go on to do other things. This was just a lot of fun

Awesome
This isn’t my normal genre BUT I am pleased I jumped into this series. It’s one of the BEST things I have read. You will love the characters, hate the losses, get lost in the battles, and excited with the plot twists and outcomes. I hope all LitRPG fantasy is like this or I’ll be very disappointed. Two military buddies end up in another realm (planet) and use their military training and skills to advance through stages of development, they take to it like ducks to water. Along the way the stick up for the underdogs, put those who wield power unjustly in their place, make epic mistakes that they atone for. It’s a journey of growth and discovery, littered with battle and humor. And not ONCE does the writer say “clip” instead of magazine. He actually knows weapons which is a plus- two many writers of other genres don’t and it highly annoying. So go ahead and take a chance on Eric and Rugrat, you will just love this series.

Fun
One of the best series I have read. The storyline moved along at a good pace. The best feature is it didn’t feature harems or sex .

The battle for Ascendency has already begun, hope the guys aren’t too late
A Devourer means to ascend to gain control of the ten realms, a secret lies buried deep within the creation of the ten realms that could cause untold havoc if the people of the ten realms can’t stop his ascension.Alva continues to battle to protect the realms and its people while the Imperium head works the angles for future political gain. Sacrificing people and cities to set the stage for his grand entrance and saving if everyone. Only it’s a bad plan, go there and kill everything. That’s not a plan that’s an objective… as his arrogance and poor leadership isolate him from those with the experience and skills to guide him and the Imperium to victory; he sees blames the Alvans for his failures while they concentrate on protecting the people of the realms. His duplicitous nature could have let the realms be conquered by the Shattered and Devourers, but Alvans are made of stronger stuff and words mean little when actions show so much.

A great story
The story from the first book to the last was a great ride. A lot of twists and turns. The last entry was a bit too short for my liking having completed it in one sitting, but it was a very good read, especially for those of us invested in Erik and Rugrat's story.Hoping for more adventures in the Shattered Realms.

Very good.
I really liked it, it was a good way to end the journey. Maybe a jump into the future would be nice, to see how the characters are.

amazing series full of plot twists , drama and chuckles
I don’t normally do reviews, if I like the book I read it and give it an appropriate amount of stars. if I don’t I’ll uninstall it, if I really like the book I’ll do a review at the end of the series. This series I started reading the two week curse on the 30th of march 2023 as I sit here today I’ve read the entire 12 books in less than 16 days. I think that speaks more volumes than words can express for how good the series are, yes there are slow bits, some errors, it’s a series by an independent author, don’t expect perfection but for the most part it’s a fast paced roller coaster of emotions. You love the characters, you’ll hate some, you’ll laugh at others and you’ll cry when they die and leave you.The series ended on the high note it started at while leaving the possibility of more, we’re hooked and ready more.Have a nice day, I’m going to smash through the other series now

Nice ending
This series really puts it straight: "The journey is it's own reward". From start till end, lots to laugh, lots of cultivation and fights and real brotherhood!

The series had good moments but...
That the series finally ended is the only positive fact. The last novels has been annoying, I read them only to arrive to conclusion, a conclusion that is unsatisfying. The solution to all the mysteries of the ten realms is unbelievably banal: the realms has been created to nurture warriors against the bad guys that arrived from deep space. It's a pity because the series had some very good moments, but was too long and the last books were forgettable.
