Waste of money
It worked decent for a few months although always seemed glitchy if the plug wasn’t angled a certain way, but then today the part that goes into my laptop plug came off and now the adapter is unusable. A waste of money

Good for KVM switch applications. Works without external USB-C power adapter.
I purchased this to connect my Surface Laptop 4 to a KVM switch. Surface laptop charges from the external USB-c power adapter connection. USB keyboard, mouse, and headset work through the USB-A connector connected to the USB switch. Video on 1080p monitor via HDMI works through the 2 input HDMI switch. When I disconnect the USB-C power adapter, the video blinks and then resumes working. This HDMI and USB functionality appears to work even without an external USB-C power adapter connected.
