Sawyer Products Insect Repellent with 20% Picaridin, Pump Spray

I have used this product in both Thailand and Indonesia and so far it has worked brilliantly. It's probably the first time I've holidayed without the nuisance of itchy bites! It seems to last all day unless it is washed off, I didn't think about this when I went for a foot massage one evening and ended up with a couple of bites on my ankle; it's probably a good idea to carry it with you in such instances.What I really like about it is that it isn't sticky and oily like the formulas on sale in the UK. Be aware that you will need to allow around 3 weeks for delivery from the USA so order it early. It really is worth that little bit of extra hassle - highly recommended!

Very effective repellent as used last month in Antigua, don't be put off by the smell (like all medicines if it smells/tastes bad it must be good) and kept away mosquitoes and sand flies. As an earlier reviewer says it does come by snail mail at least 2 weeks so order well in advance.

For me it appeared to repel insects but not for my partner.The most frustrating thing was that after the first spray the spray mechanism did not work, so we ended up having to pour it out into our hands and spread it over our body. That part was terrible.I would not buy it again.Having read through other reviews now, there is clearly a packaging issue going back 8 years, but nothing has been done about the fundamental problem of leakage and the pump/spray not working - the manufacturers have simply plastic-wrapped it to save from leakage on transit for delivery. Really?
