Was worried about the outlay, but very useful and worth the investment. Weight loss is an essential part of our sprocker's post op care (cruciate ligament) and we need to monitor her closely. She can put weight on in a few days, but it takes weeks to get it off! She's weighed every Saturday and her calorie intake is adjusted accordingly. You could get a lab size dog to sit on this comfortably - depending on how well trained he is, of course!

This is an excellent product its billiant for my guide dog making sure hes the correct weight but also its good for accurate readings of your own weight. Its easy to keep clean and do not take much space. The price of this quallity product is very good and you get an outstanding service. I reccomend this product.

I use it to keep a weekly eye on on the weight of my two small dogs to see that they are getting the right amount of food. The scale needs to be on a hard floor to work properly but it is very easy to use. Just put the dog's bed on it and switch it on. I tares automatically to the weight of the bed. You then put the dog into the bed. wait for it to settle, take the reading; job done. The scale then switches off automatically and can be slid out of sight under a cupboard. Can't ask for more.

I bought these scales in autumn 2017 for weighing a litter of dogs I'd bred after they outgrew the postal scales I was using. Worked fine for the first three months I owned the product, then it went unused for the past year or so. Took it out of the cupboard today (April 2019) and found it won't turn on. Tried on battery power and with a separate power adaptor and still no joy. In actual usage, it's barely had any use at all. Total waste of money.

Very impressed with this. Tried it out on myself although I bought it for the dog and it was very accurate. I was disappointed, I thought the weight taken at the Doctors was wrong!! Just need to say that when the instructions say to plug the mains socket into the product it means into the little box registering the weight and not the scales themselves. I am very very pleased

The scales appear to be very accurate. I leave them on the utility room floor and my Cocker Spaniel is happy to hop on and sit on the stainless steel top without issue. I now use them myself instead of my bathroom scales.It's a pitty the top was not 10mm smaller as they would then fit inside a kitchen base unit.

Well made and easy to keep sanitized. Area adequate for a medium size pet but not too big for the house. Separate electronic read-out is easy to read and does not encroach on the weighing platform area.
