Well, erm, in theory this is a great item but in practice my got bent in the post. I honestly couldn't be bothered straightening it and rapidly came to the conclusion that I could never really rely on it to work accurately. I guess it's OK if you are really on a budget, but if you are then why on earth are you buying DeWalt?

That connecting bar has a section far smaller than the one required to join 2 aluminum guides. It seems that a U shaped plastic profile is missing (0.6 mm thickness).Actually, being not usable, I have returned it.

for what it is its expensive it should come with the guide rails, they do take some time when putting two together to make sure yu have them lined up

Not great for the rail when tightened up, the guide they run at a bit of an angle!
