Review: A great pull cord light switch. - This is not a chrome light switch but plastic painted to look like chrome. However it looks the part and was easy to fit. The ceiling mount used the same holes as the old one so no drilling involved. The best feature though is the soft click when you pull the cord. So much better than the old one that was loud and clunky. I know it costs more than the cheap plastic dome shaped ones, but I was happy to pay more for the soft click

This is not a chrome light switch but plastic painted to look like chrome. However it looks the part and was easy to fit. The ceiling mount used the same holes as the old one so no drilling involved. The best feature though is the soft click when you pull the cord. So much better than the old one that was loud and clunky. I know it costs more than the cheap plastic dome shaped ones, but I was happy to pay more for the soft click
