Great cheap little media controller that works well with my Android Samsung Galaxy S7
Bought for £12.99, it's cheaper than most of the alternatives and I've found it to be great. I use it in my car so I can play music via my phone ... I use my phone to stream to a bluetooth receiver connected to my aux in, and can control playback with this remote.Pros:- Sturdy buttons for controlling Play/Pause, Skip Forward/Back Track,, Volume Up/Down.- Paired easily with my Samsung S7.- Comes with a steering wheel holder and 3M sticky pad (although I've just used bluetac to stick it near my gearstick as I don't want it too permanently stuck down, and didn't want it in the way on the steering wheel).- Compact yet nicely spaced controls.- Works quite reliably.Cons:- The button to enter pairing mode on the back is tiny and hard to press - a SIM tray eject tool would be handy to poke the button in.- After a while, you may need to push a button to get it to pair again as I think it "sleeps" to save on battery.[- You may need to open the app you want to control first ... This is probably more to do with your device and setting the app to be controlled.]All in all, a nice gadget that I'd recommend.

Good, but not perfect.
I was after something like this as I do a lot of motorway driving, and play music from my phone through the car radio.I don't exactly have the flashiest car, so I don't have buttons on the steering wheel to skip a song while driving. To do this, I have to either a) reach over with my stubby arms and swipe at the screen (which I try to avoid - would rather be concentrating fully on the road) or b) scream 'Okay Google' enough and pray that it understands my northern accent. I was also a bit jealous of the missus' fancy new car with all its bells and whistles, but don't tell her that. For the price, you really can't go wrong with this thing. It does exactly what I needed it to, and it was dead simple to set up (Android, so can't speak for Apple products). It's even not bad looking, so doesn't stick out as a weird cumbersome gadget in the car, which is nice I guess. There's a few reasons I've not given five stars:- I'm not convinced having it clipped to the steering wheel is actually really the safest thing. I've found it getting in the way a bit when cornering, especially on full lock. It may be that I just need some time to adjust to it being there, and to the manufacturer's credit it did actually come with some adhesive pads to stick it wherever you'd like.- This may just be me nitpicking but I really think having some some raised dot, like you'd find on the 5 of a phone, on either the volumes, or skip buttons would be of hug benefit. Again, it could just be me needing time to adjust to it, but in steady corners I found myself turning the volume down rather than skipping a song.- Definitely nitpicking now: The addition of a mute button, or even an answer call/reject call button would be neat. I don't really ever receive calls in the car though, and I guess it goes against the small, stylish approach this product has taken so whatevs.tl;dr - Does exactly what it says on the tin, decently priced, easy to set up, but could do with a few tiny, tiny improvements to get full marks

Excellent. Well built little gem!
Neat little gadget. This item I use daily in my works van. My steering wheel is too thick for the wheel clip due to me having a steering wheel cover on it BUT what i do instead is clip it to my indicator stick. Works a charm. I bought it in December 2017 and the battery lasted around 6-7 months but, as I said, I use it daily at work and I'm constantly skipping songs and adjusting volume with it so it's done well. I just changed the battery (July 2018).The device itself is very good quality. It is a nice mat plastic on the face of it and the buttons feel nice to press. Not like cheap buttons at all, they have a quality feel and hardly an audible click noise at all. The rim of it is light weight aluminium with tiny ridges going around it. It does come with a circular sticker that you can use to mount the device directly to your dash if you choose to not use the wheel clip. The clip is also of good quality and is very strong too so you wont brake it very easily. Also included is a small lanyard if you wanted to use that.Pairing it with my phone took a few minutes. But that could of been my phones fault. I think i had it too close to my phone. Once I moved it a bit further away my phone picked it up no problem. And in all fairness it never fails ot connect ot my phone either. As soon as I'm in range of it, I hold the play button on the device for around 3 seconds and it wakes it up and connects immediately.I'm very happy with it and rate it full stars and would reccommend it to anyone.I have a video of it on Youtube. You can see it by going to Youtube an pasting in the following:s1f3fqxwInsOR just search for RedReviewz (mines the one with the (ЯR) logo, not the other guy (no idea who that guy is)):)If this was helpful please press the button below. Does not stay connected
Very disappointed with the product, connected initially, now just disconnects all the time. Utterly useless. Also, the buttons are completely flat so you have no feel you are on the button, not ideal when driving.

Nice idea, but poorly implemented.
Alas, I think I got a dud, or maybe it was just a flat battery (shame on you FAVOLCANO if this is the case). Although the device paired with my mobile OK, and appeared to work as described, the next day was a different matter. The button would not "wake-up" no matter how many times I pressed the front buttons.I tried to re-pair the button with my phone again, but there was no flashing blue to signify Bluetooth operation, and so I ended up returning it to Amazon for a full refund. There are many smartwatches and activity trackers that offer this kind of remote control feature, so you might want to investigate if you have such a device.
