Works amazingly well.
★★★★★ Works Like Magic – No More Bird Damage! After watching my fruit trees get ravaged by birds year after year, I decided to give this foil tape a try — and I’m so glad I did! The results were immediate and incredible. Once I hung the foil around my trees, not a single piece of fruit was damaged. The birds kept their distance entirely. I think the secret is in the combination of the foil’s high reflectivity and the constant movement it gets from the wind. The flashes of light and the rustling motion seem to completely spook the birds. Thanks to this simple solution, I finally got to enjoy a full harvest without any peck marks or ruined fruit. It’s easy to use, affordable, and extremely effective. I couldn’t be happier — this stuff is now a permanent part of my gardening toolkit!

Cheap and effective
Easy to put up. Keeps birds from pecking our wood siding, as promised.

Works.
Seems to work well in keeping an annoying woodpecker off my roof. But I had to use a fair amount and will need to replace it in the spring. Make sure you only attach one end and leave long ribbons to flap in the wind. If you tape it all down it won’t work.

Worked great!
Tied a bunch of these on a rope when we had geese walking up our hill from the river. Worked great and kept the geese away.

Either the birds have moved away or this stuff really works
I put this all around my slip at the marina b/c the birds were having a party right over my boat every day and night. I taped it up with duck tape, some directly onto the steel beams nice and tight and others just dangling so they would flap in the wind. I'm not sure which one worked but the bird droppings are gone. I don't want to harm any birds, I just wanted them to find another spot that wasn't right above my boat. There are many other boats slips for them to use. With regards to this "tape ribbon", it is not a tape and that's clearly mentioned in the description so it does not stick. It is very easy to tape up with some duck tape. It's not as much of an eye sore as I thought and it actually looks pretty cool, especially if there are some holiday weekends coming up. As for the quality, it doesn't rip so I'm very happy with it. Just so glad the birds have moved and my boat is free from the massive droppings that were ruining my boat and it's cover.

Who Knew
I randomly came across this product and decided to try it. We have two families of bird that have made their home in between the gutter and the top side of our added-on, back-deck roof, on opposite ends of the deck, and they constantly fly under the deck roof, sit on the string lights and poop on our outdoor furniture that was only one year old. The cushions on the set were grey and unfortunately had already faded, so I decided to buy a new outdoor sectional two weeks ago, but since we put it together, I've been worried that the birds would quickly start doing their thing. As soon as the item arrived, I unrolled some of it, and tied it to the string lights. It was somewhat windy last week, and I noticed that the ribbon was actually blowing above the house and fluttering around at the birds' front door, and when I went out to turn on the string lights just now, I heard absolutely nothing. Usually, regardless of what time open the sliding back door, I will hear chatter, then a quick whoosh as the birds fly out of the nest...well, not today. I have to say I'm surprised but happy that this product actually worked. I'm sad that the bird families had to relocate, because they've been here for at least six years, but it was time.
