Everything does exactly what it is supposed to. There's no lag between video and audio which I was worried about. There are products double or triple the price that perform worse. I am very pleased with the product.

Does what it should for a decent price
The audio on my large HD TV went out. I had already been diverting the audio signal from the TV to an external receiver. This device dropped in and provided an audio signal that was not visibly lagged, without compromising the video quality of the HDMI signal.
