The first one I received did not work properly, but a quick note to the customer support email address brought a friendly and very quick response. Received a second one that works perfectly.Wonderful to have coffee or a cup of tea at the perfect temperature for hours at the desk.

My mother in law moved in after a fall, she can't do much for herself and add to that there are 2 small steps to the room she's in. So balance issues, recovering dominant wrist after a break and these steps and even if she COULD do more she can't be trusted to bring things safely to her room. She needs to keep her hydration up and ONLY drinks heated water. Trying to get the timing right on the microwave was tough and we originally thought we'd leave this on a side table in her room but there's no space. Instead we set this to 150, pop a take out quart container lid on and always have a perfectly heated mug of water ready to go for her. We switch it out a few times a day and every time we bring her water we start another mug heating, rotating these 2 mugs all day long. It's made a difficult situation so much easier. We tried one of those "stay warm" mugs with a built in battery and the charging base but between less room in the mug due to the heating element/battery plus it was just too heavy for her, it's now mine. And that wasn't cheap! This is far less expensive and does the job perfectly. I know our needs are a bit unique but I'd get one of these for myself before getting another of those fancier mugs. Simple is often better, I know this is!

Works fine but takes a few min with cup on top to get to 180 degrees. It doesn't seem that hot when you drink the beverage but it's good & does keep it warm, just not piping hot.

One of the best things we have purchased. Use them every day. No more having to reheat in the microwave every 20 minutes. Keeps our coffee hot to the bottom of the cup.

This device has stopped my frequent trips to my kitchen microwave, from my home office, to keep my coffee, hot. Tips:1. Use a "FLAT" bottom cup to maximize the cup's surface contact with the hot plate. I never realized it, but the vast majority of cups sit on their bottom's circumferential lip, not on the entire bottom surface.2. I use 160 degree setting. I may up it.3. I do not use the silicone (rubber) ring, that comes with the device.4. Do not use an "insulated" cup. The heat won't transfer well from the plate. Metal or glass is best; ceramic also works good. I use ceramic.

I received this gift at a Christmas party, and absolutely loved it. I loved it so much that I purchased it again for another Christmas party and think it is just adorable and so useful for any warm liquid drinkers haha!

My coffe always hot cold when I was half way through. With this mug warmer the lowrst setting keeps it the perfect temperature

Although the item says that it will keep your coffee hot up to 180, it never heated up beyond its minimum range of 120/130 range
