Stylish design
I bought this light fixture to replace a very outdated fixture in a home I was going to sell. It helped upgrade the look of the home, which sold in 10 days!!

SINGLE PERSON INSTALL
Here's how not to suffer through a single person install: - Get two 3-inch long #8 bolts, matching regular nuts (2), wing nuts (2), and washers (2). Use those instead of the supplied bolts. Some reviewers say #6 bolts, but my hardware store didn't have 3" #6's, so I went with #8 and figured I'd drill out the holes. Turns out #8 is perfect! - Thread the #8 bolts through the base plate, pointing down. Thread on the regular nuts. Tighten. - Mount base plate to ceiling with long bolts pointing down. - THIS: After mounting the base plate loop a string/wire through any convenient spot near the middle. You're going to pull this out later. Tie it into a loop that's about 12-15" long. - AND THIS: Pass your string through the center hole of the fixture and loop it over one of the light bulb bases. I had a long single thread hanging off my loop, passed that through first, and pulled the loop through. Now your fixture is hanging about 6" below the ceiling and you can do all your wiring! - Once the wiring is done, good luck getting the fixture over the bolts. That was the hardest part for me. - Once you've gotten both wing nuts on, but before you've tightened them down, cut the string and pull it out. - Boom, single person job! It's a pretty good looking light. I think it's a bit large for my master bedroom, maybe more appropriate for a hotel lobby or living room. But everyone says it looks great. It works great with Edison type LED bulbs and a cheap dimmer switch.

Does the job and stylish
Bought this to replace a fixture. It was easy to install since we already had existing wiring. We get compliments on being stylish and good lighting.

They all look very nice, while pricing drum chandeliers I noticed that you ...
We moved into a new townhouse and swapped out all of the lighting in our living areas/hallways with Revel brand lighting. We used two of the Revel Nolan 18" Drum Chandelier in the foyer areas (using only the 6" height stem) and one over a landing in our stairway (using the 36" height stem). We used the Revel Lindos 20" Double Drum Chandelier (using the 36" height stem) over our dining room table. We also used two of the Revel Walker 15" flush mount lights in hallways. The combination of these lights really compliment each other, with an open townhouse layout this was really important because you can see the lighting in several different rooms at the same time so we wanted everything to "go together" (we used Canarm Margo pendants for over the island and the Progress Lighting Contemporary Brushed Nickel bath lights in bathrooms and everything goes together beautifully). All of the Revel Drum Chandeliers were simple to assemble, wiring and mounting were the same as any other lights. We are running them with 40w LED lights (some with dimmers, some without...) with no issues. They all look very nice, while pricing drum chandeliers I noticed that you could spend several hundred dollars on each one, and looking at these after we installed them you would not be able to tell that they are basically "cheap" ones. I would recommend them. My only complaint would be that the Styrofoam that protects them in their large boxes is not recyclable, so in our case when you buy several of these lights at the same time (5 in total) the Styrofoam completely filled up our large garbage bins for 2 weeks straight which was frustrating because then we had absolutely no room to fit any other garbage in them during that time.

Tricky to install but otherwise awesome
I love these lights. I have two smaller ones that went up very easily, but with the 20" I had a heck of a time installing this light. So here's my tips. The issues for me was that you have to line up the two screws to come though two small holes in the fixture. This is nothing out of the ordinary, BUT because the fixture is flush mounted and so wide, it is hard to get a good sense of where the screws are. I found a good solution in this1) Move the insulation away from the holes on the back (ceiling side) of the fixture to make sure that I could easily look through the holes to see where things were going.2) Mark the ceiling with a pencil line that is in line with the post screws. Make sure it extends past the width of the fixture.3) Attach all the wires (black, white, ground) leaving the ground wire long so you can use it as a hanging support. Your arms will get tired when you have to hold them over your head so long!!!4) Keeping the fixture rotated and in line with the ceiling mark, slide it left to right (along the marked line) until you see the screws through the holes.4) Secure the nuts on the screws and tighten.Follow directions in the instructions to mount the shade and diffuser.Enjoy!!

Beautiful light
I recently redecorated my bedroom. New paint, furniture and flooring. This was just the right finishing touch. My bedroom now looks like a 5 star hotel room.
