I have already sharpened enough blades to pay for the sharpener. Some reviews mentioned that it’s not a precision tool. I’m sure there are more precise sharpeners, but they cost two or three times as much. I don’t use the stops that come with the tool as I found it easier to simply use my eyes and hands to judge the cuts on each tooth. It worked an absolute charm. Each saw blade is sharper than when I bought them. I couldn’t be more pleased. If you’re good around hand tools at all, you will find this sharpener easy to use and very effective. Review: Fair value - Hi, this sealey saw sharper in not the best quality, it’s a bit flimsy, ( sealer were really good quality) it would not stand a lot of rough use/ storage, thumb screws/ wing nuts could have been user for adjustments rather than Allen keys & spanner’s, the spanners were not a good fit on the nuts, but having said the above, (& made changes)I have sharpened 6 TCT blades without to much trouble once set up. I will only use this occasionally, so it should last me quite a while!
